I just finshed making these.I usually make truck stop buttermilk pancakes from this site. But, i was out of buttermilk so i thought i would try these..They were ok.The batter seemed very thick to me even after i added more milk to thin it a bit. They had good enough flavor. But very heavy! They fluffed up great. My kid's said the other recipe is better, lighter & fluffier we also found them tuff to cut.Not sure i will make them again.Next time i will just run to the store for buttermilk instead of being lazy, lol.Thnx anyway.

The whole family loves these. It's becoming a Sat morning tradition (while blueberries are in season anyway). My daughter goes out that morning and picks the blueberries and the kids get to help make them. Thanks for such a great recipe!

They were just okay. Didn't have that good old fashioned flavor I was looking for.

Great Recipe. Light and Fluffy. I only waited 15 min before cooking. Fresh Blueberries worked great. This is a keeper.

Wow! This one is a keeper. My husband loved them so much he wants them once a week now, I didnt wait the whole hour for the batter to sit, I mixed it then allowed it to sit while the bacon was cooking, came out GREAT! Thanks to the Genius who shared this one!!!I would give it a 10 +.

Wow, these were GREAT! I didn't wait an hour before making these and they still turned out wonderful! I used fresh blueberries and cornola oil instead of butter. I also added some wheat germs for extra nutrition. I will make these again!!

I wasn't a fan of this recipe. Pancakes were very thin and kept falling apart when I would flip them over. The overall taste was very disappointing.I will stick with Aunt Jemima Buttermilk complete and add my own blueberries.

Delicious, but this recipe only made about 6-7 pancakes. I about doubled the amount of blueberries--personally, I like the berries to be close together.

I used 2 tsps of sugar and they were PERFECT... didn't even need syrup. Very fluffy - my husband was impressed!

Absolutely the best pancakes I have ever eaten, hands down! They are a delicious dense pancake. I have tried them without the blueberries, with blueberries, with banana and nuts, etc. These pancakes are good anyway you have them! GREAT RECIPE!!!

Well worth the hour wait while the batter sits. Incredibly light and fluffy! However, this recipe doesn't make very many pancakes, so adjust accordingly. I found this recipe only made 6 good size pancakes. Thanks.

This is the fourth pancake recipe I've tried from this site, and these are by far the best!! I didn't have any blueberries, so I just added another spoonful of sugar and cooked them as is. Excellent! Just like you hope they'll be. I didn't bother waiting an hour for the batter to "activate". I made the pancakes right away. They were great. My husband said these were the best ever. These are my new pancakes for weekly use!

Definitely follow the recommendation to serve with brown sugar and butter. DELICIOUS! Also, I used butter as the grease for my pan. Pancakes fried up w/ crispy edges but still moist, and caky inside.

I used fresh blueberries and a little more sugar than the recipe calls for. I still wanted syrup on mine, but they were delicious!

These pancakes were excellent! Light, fluffy, and enjoyed by everyone. The batter only sat for about 20 min, while I was doing other things and it turned out great. As written, the recipe doesn't make alot so I did double it for the four of us and that was just the right amount.

I give this 5 stars with 2 easy changes. 1) Use 3/4 cup of blueberries and 2) add 1 tsp of almond extract. Delicious! I have made this recipe half a dozen times and I never wait an hour, the pancakes still taste great. My only complaint is the serving size - it actually only makes about 8 small pancakes, which is only 2 servings in my household!
