This easily adaptable recipes was delicious. Be sure that you slice the cake thin enough to ensure the middle gets warm.

This was a quick and light dessert that tasted elegant. I omitted the powdered sugar and opted for fresh berries with a sprig of mint. Very versatile when you change the raspberry preserves to blueberry or strawberry or whatever your heart desires.

I would have never thought of trying something like this but I had an angel food cake sitting around and I wanted a different way to serve it. I was pleasantly surprised!
