I made this for a recent shower. The appearance and presentation of this is what drew me. It is beautiful on a snack tray and looks like a lot of work went into it, when it's really fairly simple. The ladies all loved it and a couple of people raved on and on about it. I can't say it was my fave. I don't know, I found the chedder cheese I bought from the deli to be so strong tasting.I will certainly be making this again because so many others seemed to enjoy it. Thank you for sharing!

This was suprisingly easy and went over very well at at lunch. Already had several requests for the recipe.

I made this for New Year's Eve at my son-in-law's house, who promptly dubbed it "Cheese Heaven." WONDERFUL.

What a nice addition to your party table! The only change I made was to increase the cream cheese to 12 ounces instead of 8. The combination given on the site is good, but the possiblities are endless. I made a ranch version by adding ranch mix, bacon, and green onions to cream cheese and layering with cheddar slices. You could also do an Italian version with herbs and chopped black olives.
