I followed this recipe exactly to the author's specs (oven method)... and initially, I was concered about the overload of onion soup-flavoring. As the meat baked, however, the flavors melded and produced a nice outcome. DBF, who rarely allows me in the kitchen due to my lack of culinary skills, and is a very picky eater, absolutely LOVED this dish. Thank YOU, Jane, for sharing a great recipe! Will make this again and again.
