Tomatillos, lots of garlic and spicy jalapenos charred under the broiler give this salsa a rich, earthy flavor.

Salsa De Tomatillo

This is the 'salsa de tomatillo' that I grew up with. It can be used as a sauce for grilled chicken, fish or shrimp, as the basis for green chilaquiles (pour over tortilla chips, shredded cooked chicken and shredded Monterey Jack, then heat under the broiler), and as a dipping sauce for chips. Delicioso!

Green, tomatillo salsa, right from Morelos, Mexico. This is my husband's recipe; we use it for taquitos, huevos rancheros, pork, chicken, or just for dipping!

Green tomatillo salsa is really easy to make with the addition of green tomatoes, cilantro, and garlic powder! This is great, green salsa that everyone asks me to make. I have made it several times and just recently had the best batch ever!

No cooking, no cans. All fresh ingredients and flavor no one will be able to walk away from! Sweet onion and fresh lime juice make all the difference in this recipe. My husband and I will eat this at one sitting!

Tomatillos make this tangy salsa green -- and delicious! Serve it with tortilla chips, on fish, or with tacos and burritos.

Roasted Corn Salsa

'This colorful salsa is worth the extra time it takes to grill the ears of corn,' assures field editor Nancy Horsburgh of Everett, Ontario. 'The flavor goes well with barbecued meats, but it's also tasty served with chips.'
