I'd give this recipe a 4.5 rating. I browned 3/4 lb. of ground beef with a small onion and a few TBLS. of minced garlic and added this on top of the noodles. I added some extra spaghetti sauce and used an Italian cheese blend. This was definitely good and I'd have it again!

Very good recipe. The only changes I made from reading other reviews was to add a full bottle of spaghetti sauce and half a jar of alfredo. Fiancee requested a little more seasoning.

The sauce is really what makes this recipe. I've made this numerous times (very messy to make btw), and I find that the homemade sauce I usually make with hamburger and sausage makes this recipe 5*. If the sauce is sub-par the dish will be sub-par. That probably can go without saying, but I would recommend not skimping on the sauce for this. I do remember that I had to use more sauce than the recipe called for and I always add more cheese. I normally whip this up as a last minute dish if I've got leftover homemade spaghetti sauce in the freezer.

We loved this !! I made a mistake the 2nd time I made it, but we loved it! Instead of adding the sauce on top, I mixed everything together, then poured it into a pan & baked. It is delicious that way too & easy!

This is an excellent recipe. Did make 2 changes....omitted Romano cheese because I didn't have any on hand and browned 1 lb ground chuck to add to sauce. This was even great the next day for lunch. Yummy.

the only reason im giving this 4 stars is because it really could use more sauce. the only thing i did different was use homemade sauce instead of jarred since i dont use jarred sauce. my kids really enjoyed it so ill be making it again. thanks!

My family did not care for this. Perhaps more sauce would improve the dish. When we dug into the spaghetti/cheese/egg mixture underneath the top layer of sauce, the texture was dry. Flavor was "so-so" and not enough to make up for the dryness.

Yummy!!! I changed it a little because I only had Cheddar and Parmesan cheese and added some veggies and hamburger to the sauce. My family loved it. The only thing I didn't like was that it has way too much garlic powder.

My hubby and I made this for dinner for our family the other night and we thought it was ok; although we did change some things. We cut the recipe in half as there was only 3 of us eating; we didn't use any romano, but used some ricotta instead. We added 4 cloves of garlic to the cheese mixture and lastly, we covered the top with homemade alfredo sauce and spaghetti sauce. We didn't find that the cook time was long enough...even after 40 minutes in the oven the pasta still wasn't overly hot in the middle. One thing the recipe doesn't mention is to undercook your pasta because you're baking it, otherwise you will end up with very mush pasta. So all in all - it was fine...but not outstanding.

Yum! I used whole-wheat spaghetti, Newman's Own spaghetti sauce ('Cabernet Marinara' flavor) - added in some minced garlic, onion powder, and oregano; used Mexican-blend shredded cheese. Great, basic recipe. :)

This was very simple. I followed the recipe exactly, and it was great! Maybe high on the calorie side, but very tastey. It made plenty and leftovers for my household of 2. This would be great for a larger family. Serve with garlic bread and side salad. Thanks!

I loved this recipe. I try to cook low fat so I tweaked it a little. I used reduced fat Mozzarella and egg substitute. I didn't have Romano cheese so I used 1 cup of Parmesan instead. I also used Ditalini instead of Spaghetti, it is easier for my 2 year old, who loved it. I will definitely make this again. It reminded me of my Grandmother's Mac and Cheese.

This became an instant classic in my house! The spaghetti was a little hard for my little kids to eat, so I use whatever shape pasta I have - spirals, penne, bowties, whatever! And I use different cheeses every time, too. My picky kids love it, and so do my husband and I!
