The only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is simply because I wasn't totally wow-ed. It was very good and I will be making it again, I'm sure. Other upsides is that this is the kind of ingredients I often have on hand (minus pimentos), it's easy to throw together, and pretty cheap with the leftovers.

Made this for my dad and I with salad and some italian bread. It was excellent! Added a little more cheese and a little more pasta but we both really enjoyed it!

This was a pretty good "somethihng different" dish. My kids didn't enjoy it, but they are 2 and 4 so their opinion can vary from day to day. I think maybe next time I make it I'll add some more kick to it, because it tasted like it was missing a little something, but it was still yummy.

I found this recipe to be terribly bland. I sprinkled a pinch of cayenne pepper on top of my own portion, which made it a little zippier, but neither my children nor my husband liked it at all, so I will not be making it again.

This tasted like fancy macaroni and cheese. I left out mushrooms and used 1 cup of frozen peas instead. I just mixed with the onions and green pepper after they were sauteed. I also left off the bread crumbs and it was ready to eat after being in the oven for the first 45 mins.

OH MY! This was a great recipe! IT was Gone in minutes! I did change it up a bit. I had leftover turkey, so I used it instead. I used elbow noodles and obmited the green pepers (we don't like them). I also didn't cook the noodles, I added 3/4 c. chicken broth to the mixture and cooked it 1hr 15 mins while stiring in the middle of the cook time. I also added some garlic power and som italian seasoning. It turned out GREAT! This is a keeper!

Great family recipe! My family loved it. I added 1 can of cream of mushroom soup and no extra mushrooms. We all liked it because it was not too heavy and rich as some casseroles can be!

I really liked this recipe, it wasn't just another chicken cassarole. I followed the suggestions of others and used 2 cans of soup and some crushed garlic. It was a great winter time comfort food. I have already passed the recipe on to my mom for her to try! I know I'll use this one again!

Pretty good! I followed the recipe exactly as is, next time I would probably use ricotta as opposed to the cottage cheese, I just think it melts better. Made a ton, And reheated well.

I'm not sure how I can rate this, since I made numerous changes to the base recipe. Instead of using a can of soup, I made a bechamel sauce, and then stirred the cheeses into it. I added more spices, such as pepper, garlic, and a pinch of thyme, and I used red roasted peppers instead of green. The dish came out very well; even the hard-to-please child here liked it.

Based on other reviews, I added an extra can of soup. I also added in about a cup of peas to brighten it up a bit more, and added 1/2 t of Penzey's Basil Seasoning, which added some extra flavor. I mixed the parm in with the breadcrumbs for the top. It's a heavy dish and it did come out creamy and cheezy. I might make it again some day.
