A homemade sweet pastry dough is pressed into a pan. Then it 's filled with blueberries and topped with more of the crumbly dough. Bake in a hot, hot oven and enjoy this berry-good treat with generous scoops of vanilla bean ice cream.

This is a wonderful double-crust pie piled high with fresh raspberries. The berries are sugared and sprinkled with tapioca and cornstarch, and arranged in a prepared crust. Pats of butter go on just before the top crust is added, and then the pie is baked until the juices bubble up and the crust is golden brown.

To make this scrumptious pie, rhubarb, blackberries and raspberries are combined with sugar and flour and refrigerated overnight. This sweet mixture is then spooned into a made-from-scratch crust, topped with another round of pastry and popped into the oven to bake to perfection.

Who would have thought? Blueberries and cherries in the same pie. But they 're divine together. You 'll have to pit the cherries, but it should be a labor of love. The berries are sugared, dusted with flour and cinnamon, and dotted with butter. The oven takes care of the rest.

Blueberries, raspberries and apples find harmony in this delightful pie. Cinnamon, nutmeg, allspice, flour and brown sugar are sprinkled on top of the fruit, and the pie bakes within 30 minutes.

There is nothing to beat a fresh blueberry pie. It doesn 't need much: sugar, a bit of cornstarch to thicken all the nice juices and cinnamon. It 's perfect with fresh berries, but still mighty fine with frozen ones.

Fresh Berry Pie

Fresh strawberries are stirred into a cooked strawberry gelatin filling and spooned into a pre-baked crumb crust. This pretty, sweet pie is then chilled and served with whipped cream. Or if you like, make this pie with peaches.

Just over two cups of raspberries are heaped into a pie crust, sprinkled with lots of brown sugar and a bit of cornstarch for thickening, and dotted with butter. The top crust goes on, and then this luscious pie is slipped into a hot oven to bake.

Four cups of fresh raspberries find their way into this incredible pie. They 're sweetened with sugar, splashed with a bit of lemon juice, sprinkled with tapioca and cinnamon, and then mounded into a prepared pastry. On goes the top crust with a bit of cream brushed on to make it glisten, and then the pie is popped into the oven to bake.
