The taste was there but the next day after being in the fridge, it had a consistency that I couldn't get past. It was hard to describe - thick and sort of rubbery.

I cooked it on the stovetop, so i could keep an eye on it. It's not bad, nice consistiency, but I guess I'd like it to be a little more chocolaty. I used 1/2 cup of sugar, and it worked well.

This recipe was a simply easy to make delight.. I was a little doubtful at first ( before you put it in the microwave it looks very liquidy) The after the intial 3 minutes, i only needed 3 minutes more. i rated this 4/5 because the top layer on the pudding, when scooped into bowls, made the pudding, where the layer was emptied into, slightly lumpy. I would definately experiment with the sugar amounts because it was a little sweet... also i think a little whipped topping is nessecary for the taste to come out just rite. I would try it out on you family before serving to guest... a simple luxory with only a few simple ingredient... ( my brother was amazed with the fact that it only has 5 ingredients)

this is really good, really easy and much cheaper than buying the packaged pudding powder - and tastes just as good. Just watch it and don't overcook it - in my microwave the first 3 minutes is usually enough.

This recipe was quick, easy and tasty. I followed the recipe exactly except that I cooked it on the stove rather than in the microwave. I will definitely make this again! One tip I would offer is to cool and stir for a bit before pouring it into serving bowls...this prevents the thick skin from forming on top. What I do is fill the sink with about 2-3 inches of cold water, put the pot in the sink and continue stirring the pudding for a few minutes. Then I pour the pudding into a bowl, cover it with saran wrap and put it in the fridge.

I only gave this 4 out of 5 stars because I did make a couple of changes. I only put in 1\2 cup sugar so it wouldn't be too too sweet. I also did it over the stovetop rather than in a microwave. It takes a little longer, but i felt it came out better and nicely mixed. It was delicious with a little cool whip on top. I could eat the whole thing at once.

Followed almost exactly. Used 1/2c sugar and only needed 3 minutes of second microwaving time. Made a nice pie filling on a cooked crust. Will use again.

Made for dessert this evening and what a wonderful pudding recipe. Very quick. I doubled the recipe and added 1 cup of sugar (took other reviewers advice on the sugar - thanks) and it was just perfect. I also cooked on the stove top. My family enjoyed a lot. Thanks

This was very quick & easy to make. The thickness of the pudding was just perfect and it set up nicely. However I found the taste was a little bitter and too much like cocoa powder. I think using melted chocolate instead of cocoa powder would produce a much smoother & richer chocolaty taste. The sugar of course would need to be adjusted depending on how bitter the chocolate is you use. This dessert has a lot of potential. It’s definitely worth trying it again.

Wow! Its so easy, and following reviwers advice i created a wonderfully rich chocolate pudding! The 1 star is taken away because my bowl over flowed and splattered ALL over the microwave, but then again..whos fault is that really? Thanks so much!

This pudding was okay...it was fast and easy, but the taste wasn't really my favorite. I used 1/2 cup of sugar as others had suggested, and any less than that would be too little. I would also recommend reducing the amount of vanilla.

Delicious and just the recipe I was looking for. I cooked it on the stove though. Doubled the recipe exactly except adding 1 cup of sugar after reading other comments that it wasn't sweet enuff and for our tastes, 1 cup was just perfect.

I tried using 2/3 cup of sugar, but that was too sweet. I think I'll try 1/2 cup next time. It really just depends on your tastes. If you don't like it too sweet then 1/3 cup will be just fine. Other than that I thought it was a good recipe if you like your pudding really thick. If not you might want to try adding 2 tablespoons of cornstarch instead of 3 and it'll probably still be thick enough.

This was an awesome recipe! I love thick pudding! It is so much easier than the stove-top pudding that you have to constantly stir; it tastes a lot better too. I added twice a much sugar, and it turned out great!I would absolutly make it again!

The only reason I didn't give this one 5 stars is, it was not as sweet as I like. Thank you for the quick, yummy recipe!!! I am going to share this one!!
