I did not like these. I was supposed to be making these for my daughter's Girl Scout Banquet, and there was NO way I would have publicly admitted I made this!! Very sweet...

I just used the recipe for the sauce and put some frozen premade meatballs in the pot to simmer. Excellent! I was looking for a recipe without ketchup, as no one in my house likes the "red" sweet and sour sauce. Bravo! The perfect sauce!

This was the best sweet and sour meatball recipe I've ever made. The only change was to add 2 T of cornstarch to the sauce (mix with a small amount of sauce then add to remainder) so that it was thicker, and I added some ketchup. I baked it in the oven as another reader suggested. My family all loved it!

This recipe was just okay. I wanted something different and this seemed to fit the bill. My husband liked it but both kids didn't. Would not make again.

I'm allergic to pineapple which most sweet/sour meatballs contain. Everyone enjoyed them. Thanks for sharing.

Excellent! I love this recipe! Not a lot of ingredients and everything was in my house. I didn't have to make special trips to the store for missing ingredients! The taste was awesome! My husband was a bit disappointed there weren't any leftovers. He wanted to take some to work for lunch. Next time I will have to double the recipe! Didn't change a thing! Thanks!

I wanted a quick, easy recipe for ground beef. Tired of the same old hamburgerhelper. This recipe was amazing!!! I will cook it for years to come.

These meatballs were awesome!!! I will definately be making them again! I didn't have an onion on hand so I used 1/2 tsp of onion powder. I also used 3/4 cup of brown sugar instead of 1 cup and they were perfect. YUMMY!!!! Thanks for a great recipe.

This recipe was great! I used a little less than a cup of brown sugar, but other than that I followed the recipe completely. I served the meatballs over white rice. Very filling and yummy! I will definitely make this again.

The sauce was pretty good, but I found that the flour did not thicken it very well. Next time I will use cornstarch. I also added a drained can of pineapple. A good recipe.

Very good. This was the second time I made it and I made a few changes. I cut the brown sugar down to 3/4 cup. Added a can of sliced mushroom and a carrot to the sauce. And used 1/4c dried chopped onion instead of a whole onion. Cooked the meatballs in the oven for 20 minutes and then brownded them. Made the sauce and then cooked the meatballs and the sauce in the oven for another 20 min.
