My sister and I really liked this meatloaf. The only thing I did differently was to add tomato sauce over the top of the meatloaf five minutes prior to taking it out of the oven. It was definitely "yummy for the tummy."

This is a great recipe. The prep was very simple and it smelled so good in the oven. I left out the green peppers on account of my picky 2 year old's suspicion of anything green and it still came out lovely. The whole family enjoyed it. It's very filling and we only ate about half the loaf, so I froze the rest for later. That makes it an affordable choice as well, since the ingredients are relatively inexpensive and it makes a lot of food. I'll definitely make it again.

Great recipe. I didn't have any sliced bread so I used 3/4 c purchased breadcrumbs and it turned out fine. Moist but not crumbly. Be sure to use a good quality steak sauce because the taste comes through!

This was my first meatloaf attempt, and it was good. I modified the recipe by adding 1 egg and used 2 1/4 lb. beef, omitting the salt but adding Adobo (seasoned salt/garlic powder blend), subbed soft bread crumbs for italian bread crumb mix, mixed steak sauce and ketchup together, added parsley, chopped garlic, oregano and 1 tsp. worchestshire sauce. I put two pieces of bread on the bottom to soak up some of the grease, which worked nicely. Next time I will use ground sirloin as some others had suggested, and use more ketchup in the meat. I will also work more seasonings into the meat before adding anything else. It was good but the meat needed a little more flavor.

I'm a vegetarian and even I was impressed (by the aroma) of this meatloaf. I used a kilo of mince, barbeque sauce, red capsicum and some garlic as well and it was a complete hit! So moist, yet stayed together beautifullly. I used silicon cookware and it seemed to generate a lot of juice - I drained it mostly off at about 7/8 cooked mark and made gravy with it. I'd definitely recommend this recipe to anyone looking for something nice, easy and uncomplicated. It would be simple to add any number of different seasonings to change the style of the meatloaf.

This meatloaf is really good. I omitted the green peppers because my kids don't like "chunks" and instead of the steak sauce I added 3 tbs of worchestershire sauce! Yummy!

Wonderful Recipe! My addition was lining the loaf pan and the top of the loaf with tasty bacon. Pork fat rules!

I thought this recipe was good but the rest of my family loved it. So I wanted to give it 4 stars. I might have liked it better if I had substituted the stuffing mix for the bread crumbs (suggested by other reviewers).

I have never made a meatloaf before, so was not sure how I'd like it. This was absolutely wonderful! We've been eating it for 3 days now, and it only gets better. A couple of notes: It took longer to cook than noted here to reach the internal temp of 160 degrees, and I didn't add the bell pepper. It was delicious, moist, quick and made for great leftovers.

This recipe was awesome. Even my two daughters and the oldest's boyfriend loved it and none of them like peppers or onions! I've been making my mom's recipe for years but this will be the one from now on!
