I just made this banana bread and it turned out perfect. I checked the bread after 1 hour and I baked it for 10 more min, and it turned out moist and delicious. I had so many compliments on it, and my whole family really enjoyed it. YOU DON'T EVEN NEED TO PUT BUTTER ON IT! That is amazing! I will be using this recipe again. Thanks for the recipe.

This was the first time I ever tried to make banana bread and it was wonderful. I used a muffin pan because I didn't have a loaf pan and I just adjusted the time. They were moist and tasty and used ingredients I have on hand. Excellent recipe!!

I've made this banana bread several times now, and every time it has turned out great! It is always so moist and that's the way I like it best. Many recipes leave banana bread dry, but this one was perfect. I also sprinkled cinnamon-sugar on the top of the loaf before I cooked it, and it was yummy! This is one of our favorites!

Excellent recipe. I used the changes reviewers recommended with white/brown sugar combination, cinnamon, and nutmeg. I made three small loaves, 3" x 6" and baked them for 43 minutes at 350 degrees. I cool them in the pans for 10 minutes then on a rack. AFter that I put them back into the disposable pans and wrap as a little gift. I'll be making this again for sure.

I think this bread is the best I have ever made!! I did alter it like most of the reviews. I split the sugars 1/2 cup white and 1/2 brown. I added 1/2 tsp salt and 1 tsp of vanilla. I noticed alot of reviews were complaining about bake time and doneness. What I did was pour enough batter to make 6 muffins and pour the rest in my loaf pan. I baked the muffins at 350 for 18min. and the bread for 40min. It was a perfect amount of time, moist but done. I think if I would have poured all of the batter in the loaf pan It would have been hard to get the middle done with out burning some of the top. I highly recommend splitting up the batter. My kids love to eat the muffins more anyways. I have finally found the best banana bread recipe!

This was a simple banana bread to make. It was easy to follow and easy to understand and easy to make, especially since it was the first banana bread I ever made.

The only thing wrong with this bread...it is never enough. So moist on the inside, crispy on the outside and then the bannana flavor takes it to a new level of heaven. I get excited when the local grocery has over-ripe bannans on sale. Thanks for the wonderful recipe.

I liked how easy this recipe was. Also with ingredients I always have on hand. I don't, however, have loaf pans, except my 1 small one I use for meat loaf, so I converted this to a banana muffin recipe and found it takes just under 30 minutes to bake that way. I added a little cinnamin, nutmeg and a tblspoon of triple sec. Yum!

I too used 1/2 cup each white and brown sugar and added 1 tsp vanilla. Took little over 1 hr for mine. It seems to beg for a 1/2 tsp or so of salt. Would add next time.

This is the best recipe for banana bread ever!!! I used whole wheat flour instead of white and it came out beautifully! I know that this type of bread ususally goes unfrosted, but I made a little cream cheese frosting on the side and talk about good OMG!

When I first looked at this recipe I thought it looked way to simple and that it couldn't be that great. I needed a recipe for work that I could make quickly and it had great ratings so I tried it. Normally I like spicy food and would have added some cinnamon and cloves but decided not to for a change. Wow, I was really supprised at the flavor! Really nice banana taste with a great texture. Thanks, I'll use this recipe again as is.

Great Recipe!! i had about 3 bananas to get rid of and didnt want a high maintance recipe so i was glad to see this one. Skimmed thru a couple reviews and here's what i ended up doing- 1/2 cup each of both white and brown sugar. Used 1/2 of apple sauce in place of the butter and added about a tsp of both cinnamon and vanilla and a couple dashes of nutmeg. I topped the bread with sliced almonds and then baked for an hour-DELICIOUS!! super easy and it has a great consistency..not to too dense! THANKS FOR THE GREAT RECIPE :)
