Really good. Too much baking soda. You could taste it. Next time I may just uses 1/2 teaspoon.

This is a nice bread. The crust came out a little too crispy for me, but I might of baked it too long. Still has a nice banana flavor and it very moist.

Super easy to make, and so far the best banana bread I've made! It was just the right moistness and sweet, but not overly sweet.

I'd have to say this was delicious! I took the advice of adding 1 tsp vanilla, 1 T cinnamon, 1/2 C sugar and 1/2 C brown sugar (replace the 1 C of white suger). My banana bread eaters of the house gives this a 5!

I took the rum suggestion another step further... I soaked 1/2 cup raisins in Knob Creek Bourbon for 48 hours and added them and the liquid....it turned out supremely moist with a deliciously enhanced flavor! We really enjoyed it and will do that exact thing again!! :)

This recipe is wonderful and so easy! I had 3 ripe bananas that I needed to use, and this was the perfect answer. I used 1/2 cup of brown sugar and 1/2 cup of white sugar. I used real butter instead of margarine, and added a tsp. of cinnamon and a tsp. of vanilla. I baked for exactly 1 hour and it came out perfect. This is definitely a keeper!

I subsituted applesauce for the margerine, and added a pinch of salt and half brown sugar half white sugar and about a tsp of cinnimon. Fabulous, Moist Bread. I love that its simple.

I loved this recipe !! I did follow "MomSavedbyGrace" 's advice and used 1/2 brown sugar and 1/2 white sugar, less flour, along with adding the vanilla and cinnamon. It was WONDERFUL ! Hubby isn't much of a bread lover but couldn't keep him out of it !!

Excellent base recipe! Actually its an excellent recipe by itself! I always have these ingredients on hand for leftover mushy brown bananas. I've addded peanut butter, or oatmeal, or almonds, or chocolate chips, or whatever extra goodies I have laying around. Sometimes I add in an extra egg to make it a little more cake-like.
