This recipe was delicious! I did make a few adaptations as suggested in other review: 1/2 white, 1/2 brown sugar, 1 t vanilla and 1/2 t salt. It barely lasted 2 days in my house!

Delicious! I halved the recipe and made 4 mini-loaves which baked for around 30 minutes. I was still shy of enough banana, so I added half a cup of crushed pineapple and threw in half a cup of coconut because it just seemed to go with the tropical theme I was getting into. This recipe is a great starting point and can easily be adapted.

I made this yesterday. After breakfast today, it's all gone! I didn't bother measuring the bananas, I just used 4 fairly large ones.

It was so easy and I did what most of the reviews said and used 1/2cup of brown and white suger. 1 1/2 cup of flour, vinaila, and real butter. I also added chuncky puntbutter and chocolate chips. I also put foil over it so the center would cook faster. We all love it. Ps there is a lot so we made a loaf and 12 muffins. Thanks

Very good bread and SO easy! I don't bake and this turned out really great and took no time at all. I only used three bananas but will use four next time (didn't measure). I think nutmeg and cinammon would improve the flavor. I will add that next time, but overall a agreat and easy recipe!

Delicious, added toasted slivered almonds and walnuts then made it again two days later since we ate it all and added the nuts plus some dried cranberries......it is quite delicious. Oh and to be healthy I added 1/3 cup of apple sauce instead of butter or oil......oh so good!

Easy to make, tastes lovely and my little one had fun helping too! I did use the changes that a few others suggested...We used 1/2 cup white sugar with 1/2 cup brown sugar, added 1 tsp vanilla and a dash of cinnamon for some extra flavour. We also sprinkled chocolate chips on top before baking and dusted with powdered sugar afterwards. Fantastic and not too much effort to make even on a lazy Sunday!

I'm giving this five stars, but with reservations. When I checked it at 50 minutes, the outside was overdone and the inside was underdone. I covered it with foil to finish it, and I think that saved it. However, once I peeled off the burnt crust it was really delicious! I'm going to try it again but tweak the baking time/temp. I'm also going to try it on convection rather than convention. I used butter, a tsp of vanilla and four medium bananas.

I found this bread a little too sweet and in fact I could taste the white sugar. Maybe switching to brown sugar may make it a better taste.

I had a hard time getting this bread done in the middle. It could have been me/my oven, but by the time the inside was baked the outside was dry. I might try it again but cover it with foil partway through.

This was really yummy and simple to prepare. I had 4 bananas so I used them up. It did take longer than an hour to bake for me. Other than that I followed it exactly....would be awesome with nuts, but my son hates them :(...I give it 4 1/2 stars!

I baked this for the hour and that was too long. Probably would have got it out earlier but there were a few distractions at our house that day! Even at an hour, the kids absolutely loved it and it was still good. Followed recipe exactly, very tasty, but may try subbing some things next time for a healthier version.
