This is the best Thanksgiving stuffing I have ever had. With a mix of Southern-style cooking and Italian flavors it brings all great tastes together. I got this recipe from my mom last year after everyone gave it amazing reviews!

Give Thanksgiving stuffing a down-home flavor twist by using rye and pumpernickel bread cubes and season them with bacon, onions, celery, rosemary, thyme and sage, and a splash of good bourbon whisky.

The flavor of this basic bread stuffing is boosted by the addition of several cups of chopped celery. This recipe yields enough dressing to stuff a 10-15 pound turkey. Bake the dressing that doesn't fit in the cavity of the turkey in a buttered baking dish. Try putting the stuffing under the skin of the breast. It makes the turkey very moist!
