This recipe is exactly what we were looking for, thanks! My boys love Trader Joe's mexican quiche - we moved and are now far from Trader Joes and I have been searching for a replacement for them. I omitted the olives (family preference), but otherwise prepared the recipe as called for. Next time I would leave out the chili powder as well. It didn't seem to add to the flavor and it left the crust looking unappetizing - brownish and burnt even though it wasn't. I'd also try pureeing the chiles because my son didn't like the chunks, but again that's just a family preference. The mild flavor is great for kids and the texture was perfect, thank you so much!

I made this for a work breakfast and substituted jalepeno's for the green chilies and everyone absolutely loved it, gave it just the perfect amount of spice, I can't wait to make it again!

Meh, this was ok. I knew that if I had made it as written it would have been kinda bland, but even with additional seasonings it was still pretty boring. If I were to make it again, I would add sauted onions to the egg mix, plus alot more garlic, chili powder/chipotle powder etc. I liked a previous reviewer's suggestion of serving it with salsa - unfortunately I didn't have any. This has the potential to be really good but as is, I'm not terribly enthusiastic.

Great quiche-Texture was creamy and wonderful. For an extra kick, I added canned chopped jalapenos instead of green chiles.

I'm sorry to say we weren't very impressed with this. With the name and the ingredients, I expected this to have a bit of zip to it, but it had a very, um, subtle flavor. It did have a nice creamy texture though. I thought it was good with salsa on top.
