Add beans, and tone down the spices if you're feeding it to kids!

This recipe was absolutely fantastic. The jar of salsa really adds a kick! It is so easy, but unique at the same time! Thank you SO much!

I've now made this 5-6 times and it is FABULOUS!!! The first time I made this I was thinking 3 medium zucchini was a TON, but it cooks down quite a bit and is perfect. I like beans in my chili, so I added a can of black and a can of cannelini beans and it fleshed it out perfectly. This was amazing served with some tortilla chips and is in now our regular rotation. There was a suggestion to use a taco seasoning mix from this site by Bill Engols and I would repeat that. It does wonders in an already fabulous chili!

The ingredients regarding portion sizes available in stores here are as follows: Turkey - 20 oz. frozen; taco seasoning -- just add a pkg. rounded to an oz.; broth 14 - 20 oz. works fine; can up the broth in place of part of the water. In other words don't let larger purchased quantities go to waste. A little more here or there makes no taste difference. The arrangement of this recipe should be changed as follows: Chop the vegetables first. Brown the turkey. Add ALL spices and the broth -- bring to a boil and then simmer 4 minutes. Now, in your empty skillet, brown the onions and pepper. Toss into a kettle along with the turkey. Bring to a simmer. Brown the zuke. Toss into kettle. Now for added pleasure, as one remarkable woman suggested, add 3 minced garlic simmered just briefly. Add a cup or so of frozen corn. Add a can of black beans (rinsed). Add a tablespoon of brown sugar. Stir. Now, everything should be in the kettle that has been simmering. Simmer an additional 15 minutes. Now wasn't that easy and well organized? Smiling right at you, Vaughn

wonderful. I added drained can of kidney beans and black beans and used drained diced tomatoes and just added some puree to it to taste/texture. Next time I will leave out the zucchini though because don't think it made a difference.

Tasty! Followed it to the letter, added more tomatoe and thinned with a littke extra beef broth....oh and added some cumin. Could have used a tad more heat, but great recipie that seems very forgiving to a twist here and there. Loved the addition of zucchini! By far one of the best turkey chilli recipies!

Great Recipe, not too spicy but you can alter to fit your taste! I added a can of dark red kidney beans, delicious!
