Excellent recipe--but I don't know that I would've given it 5 stars without the addition of 1 can each of black and garbanzo beans. It needed a little more "body" and the beans were just the thing. Probably a can of corn in place of one of the beans would've worked well also. The spices were perfect--however, I always like a touch of sweetness to tomato based recipes, so I added 1/4 cup of brown sugar....YUM! I would highly recommend this chili recipe---and for anyone that never usually tries ground turkey in place of ground beef, believe me, you'll never miss it.

this chili is delicious. with all the slow simmering, the flavors infuse into the meat and vegetables. filling, but not as heavy as it would be if made with ground beef.

Very good. Made only minor changes. Used 1.5 lbs of leftover, diced, cooked turkey instead of ground turkey. Used 1/2 t chipotle chili powder is place of the chili pepper flakes. Also, diced one zucchini (all I had on hand) and sauted it together with the onion and green pepper to save a step. Added canned garbonzo beans at the end as recommended. It's a keeper!

Tastes good if you like spicy. A little labor intensive to make. Somebody told me to microwave pepper and onions instead of browning them - not sure what kind of difference that would make.

Yum!! We just loved this recipe. I added 1 cup of frozen corn to give it a little crunch but it would have been great without that too. I much prefer this to the bean-filled versions!

Made this for Thanksgiving night supper and my family raved about it!! I have to agree with other reviewers--even those who don't particularly care for ground turkey will love this. My mother-in-law asked me to make this for a party she is having in a few weeks and my brother-in-law begged to take home the leftovers. A definite keeper!!

This IS my favourite chili recipe; in fact, it is now my ONLY chili recipe! With my husband not able to eat beef, and neither of us being huge fans of typical kidney bean-filled chili, we LOVED this recipe! We've been fighting over who gets the leftovers! Prepared everything exactly as stated, and it was perfect. This will be made over and over, only sometimes I will really cut down on the chili pepper flakes as it was too spicy for the kids... Perfect for me, but a little too much for kids. Can't thank-you enough for this recipe!

Great tasting turkey chili! Like many, I made a couple of changes based on what was on hand: no zucchini (but will surely add next time for another dimension), used chipotle flakes instead of red pepper flakes for some added smokiness, and added a can of chili beans. Really turned out well. Thanks for a great recipe!

My family loved this. I added tomatoes and about a cup of water. I used olive oil instead of vegetable oil. I also used mild green chilis. This will probably be the only chili I make from now on.

This turned out to be one of the best pots of chili I ever made. It is very flavorful with the ground turkey and seasonings cooked together. I added a can of corn and black beans, and skipped the sour cream.

My husband and I absolutely adore this recipe! I made a few adjustments to cater to my husband's taste. I only use 1/2 can of green chile peppers, and add 1/2 can jalapeno peppers. That really spices it up! I've also left out the coriander because I don't have any, and I increased the cooking time to a few hours. It is a winter favorite in our house. I make a big batch and freeze part of it. It's delicious with corn chips!
