Unique chili. We loved the Zucchini and the turkey packs lots of protein. I added a can of Kidney beans, cause I like them!

This really is pretty terrific. Subbed chicken stock for beef broth and added a can of black beans. No other changes. Very flavorful!

3.5 stars if we could. Average chili. Needed more of something....pepper perhaps. We added 3 cloves of garlic and the beans (canellini, kidney, and black). If we were to try this one again for a "quick chili" (as opposed to an all day chili), we would drop the zuchinni as they seemed to not add much flavor and distabalize the consistency of the chili.

Wow - really awesome chili. I added some black beans and dark kidney beans, all well rinsed, and it was spectacular. The best chili I've ever made!!

Excellent recipe, but I did change a few ingredients. I used a shredded, cooked boneless turkey breast, 2 28oz cans of tomato sauce, 1 can tomato soup (instead of tomato paste, beef broth, salsa & crushed tomatoes) and put it all in the crockpot for 6-8 hours. It was delicious. A keeper at my house. Thanks for sharing!

This was WONDERFUL! I changed a few things as well. Adding Kidney beans and black beans gave it the chili feel. I also used chili powder instead of the flakes. If you like garlic, I suggest adding chopped garlic or garlic salt! Very yummy!

I thought this was wonderful. I have an aversion to zucchini so I left that out and added a can of kidney beans when the chili was almost done. That's just personal preference. I also like a little more spice so I added a teaspoon of chili powder. Thanks!

Yum! I love this & it freezes so well! You can really chop up the veggies small so it all blends together for the chili.

This chili is GREAT!! I let my son test taste it and he told me something was missing! I asked him what and he said a bowl was missing because he wanted more. I loved hearing that. I added the black beans, cannellini beans and 1/4 cup of brown sugar. The hot from the peppers with the sweet from the sugar worked well together. Enjoy!

I must admit, I took some liberties with this recipe, but it turned out very well! The main thing I did was use ground beef, rather than turkey. We prefer beef and the rest of the recipe looked so good, I took a chance with it. I also upped the tomato paste and lessened the beef broth, because the chili was so runny, and still had to strain out some liquid to have a chili rather than a soup. I did not cook the beef in vegetable oil either and left out the zucchini completely. When it was all done I let it simmer on low for 30 minutes and the flavors came together wonderfully! I served it with cheddar garlic biscuits and we had a great meal! Will definitely make again!

Very surprised! The only thing I changed was I added my homemade salsa instead of canned and added some garlic. Very delicious!

My husband is very attached to his mother's chili, and usually dismisses any recipes I try to make that are a little healthier. He loved this! I made it after Thanksgiving with our leftovers, and it was gone in two days. The only change I made was to add chili beans.

I was nervous about adding taco seasoning to a chili recipe. I like to add the spices myself. But I went with the recipe and it was surprisingly fantastic. My only change, based on other reviews, was to add a can of black beans, kidney beans and cannellini beans to the chili; the chili wasn't soupy and the three bean colors gave texture and color.

this is good chili--but sour cream and cheese are obviously both dairy products. recipe should be in an other section.

This is the perfect 'feel good' recipe for a cold day! It is easy to whip up for company and delicious for leftovers. I eliminated any super spicy ingredients (i.e. the chili peppers) and used kidneys instead of garbanzos. It was a hit!
