Really Delicious. I had a packet of chilli seasoning mix on hand so I used that instead of taco mix. I also used 12 ounces of turkey and added a can of drained black beans. I browned the ground turkey on the stove top and then dumped that and everything else in the crock pot and cooked on high for about 4 1/2 hours. The chilli mix was just a tad too spicy so next time I'll use the taco mix as called for in the recipe

This chili is a keeper! My husband went for seconds and asked if we can have the leftovers for dinner tonight. Changes I made: Added a couple large cloves of garlic, one can of black beans, used chicken stock instead of beef, and omitted the zucchini because my husband doesn't like it. Next time I will take the advice of other reviewers and also add a second can of pinto or kidney beans and some corn. Thanks for the recipe!

What a great way to warm up on a cold night! We like our chili with beans, so I added a can of kidney and pinto beans. We also like our chili very spicy, so I added chili powder and a minced jalapeno. The salsa I used was spicy, too. I really liked the zucchini in this! I browned the turkey then threw everything into the slow cooker for 5 hours on high. I added some cornstarch after a few hours because the chili was too runny for me. Next time I will add more vegetables, because I like it really chunky.

Awesome recipe, I also added 2 cans of black beans (drained and rinsed) and next time I will cut up my zucchini into smaller peices. I could not and still can not find the jar of cut green chilli peppers, so I just added a bit more chilli powder and cut up jalopenos to serve on the side. It was delicious. Great chilli.

My husband and I REALLY enjoy this chili. I am always trying to find yummy recipes that substitute for beef (since I don't eat it and he does!). This one does the trick. I make it as written but I add one can of kidney beans and one can of black beans! A++++

Good! I used the Taco Seasoning I recipe on this site instead of a package. I didn't have all the ingredients for this on hand, so I used a fresh jalapeno instead of the canned chiles, I used some red and yellow bell pepper instead of green, and I left out the zucchini. I used chunky chipotle salsa. I added a little garlic, but other than that the amounts of spices were right on! (Usually I have to add more spices to make our household happy.) Also, we like chili with beans, so I added one can of black beans and one can of kidney beans. It probably doesn't compare to chili with beef and pork, but I'm giving it five stars because we ate all the leftovers, and that seldom happens.

Love this chili. I haven't made it for a few years but I stumbled upon this recipe again and it was just as good as I remember. I did change it up a bit though. My husband doesn't care for zucchini so I omitted that. I used one can of corn, chili beans and black beans instead of the zucchini so keep a thicker consistency. I only had chicken broth at home so I used that instead of the beef broth, I also didn't have any vegetable oil so I replaced it with olive oil. We like our food spicy so I used 1/2 a can of green chile peppers and 1/2 a can of jalapeno peppers. Even though I changed it up a bit it is still amazing!

Winner of the office Chili Cook-off. I add a couple garlic cloves and lots of Chipolte Tabasco Saaas. Toss in some Chili Powder (1 tsp+) if you are feeling crazy. Once the meat is browned, toss everything in the slow cooker for 4 hrs on High. Go for the gold!

I made this recipe for the neighborhood on Halloween and everyone loved it and had no idea it was even turkey! The only things I changed: I added 2 cans of kidney beans, 8oz fresh mushrooms, 1 1/2oz packet of taco seasoning instead of 1oz, and the whole 2 oz can of tomato paste...What was i going to do with the rest of it anyway. I doubled the recipe it made a huge pot and there were no left overs

Great recipe! Not too hard or even too expensive to make. I added my own twist here and there. Used olive oil and butter to cook the veggies with a clove a garlic. Added some kidney beans and corn. Made a hearty meal the entire family loved, thanks for posting it.

Very very good. Made exactly according to directions, except for adding a little hot sauce. I did not add beans, but next time I will add garbanzos because I think they will add a great addition of flavor and texture.
