Teriyaki Pork Tenderloin Recipe Reviews - Allrecipes.com (Pg. 1)

This is my new favourite pork tenderloin recipe! Followed the recipe exactly (mine took 30 min to cook). I saved the marinade, added the juices and cornstarch to thicken for a great sauce to pour over the meat.

I have made this several times and guess I never reviewed it. It was WONDERFUL. It did turn out a little more salty than our preferred taste, so next time I will either back off a little on soy or add more brown sugar....or BOTH! :)

This has become my go-to main course when I take a meal to someone. It never fails to get rave reviews from the recipient, or from my family when I make it just for us. I don't add the ginger because I never have any on hand, and I grill it, I don't bake it. I have baked it in the past and I think grilling it gives it a much better flavor.

My rating scale (cause number of stars is subjective): 1-Didn't like it, 2-It's okay, 3-Liked it, 4-Loved it, 5-Can't get enough of it. This was fantasitc! Served with rice and stir fried veggies. We only eat meat on the weekends and this has me longing for Saturday to come!

I made this as is with the exception that I happened to have fresh ginger so I used that rather than ground (and I do not think I used enough). However, I really liked this marinade and I thought the tenderloin was cooked perfectly. I definitely will make this again.

Instead of using the sauce as a marinade, I throw everything in the crock pot and cook it on low for 5-6 hours. I comes out amazing! It is so tender it just falls apart. It also makes a wonderful freezer meal.
