I've been making this recipe for years, except I always add a small can of pineapple chunks along with its juice (or fresh if I have it on hand) and a few slices of green bell pepper. The pineapple juice cuts down on the saltiness and gives it a sweeter taste. I also serve it with rice because the juices give the rice a yummy flavor.

This recipe came out great! I am a novice cook and my husband is very picky about sauce and spice but he loved this and I have made it for shrimp and will be a staple recipe in my house!

Actually came across this recipe today looking for a something new for the chicken I planned on cooking for dinner. Since I found it late in the day it only marinated for about 2hrs...but still had LOTS of flavor. Like other reviewers I used brown sugar instead of granulated and I also used bone in chicken breasts...YUMMY also I put them under the broiler for a few minutes to crisp the skin...My 3yr old who NEVER eats his dinner asked for 2nds...This is a keeper!! Thanks

This chicken was decent enough. I have had better chicken. Definitely add other spices though, like black pepper, etc. I will do that next time.

My husband never gets tired of this one. Just remember to broil the chicken for 3 minutes to get the skin crunchy and delicious!

This recipe is fabulous! Like many others we substitued brown sugar in lieu of white sugar and our family loved it. We baked it for 1 hour and 10 minutes, instead of 1 hour the recipe suggests. (We used 7 chicken thighs). We will definitely make this one again - it's a Keeper!
