Cream Scones

Scones are a kind of sweet biscuit. They are very common in the United Kingdom. Here is a pretty good recipe that I made after a lot of trial and error. These are quite easy. You can add a bit more sugar if you want. These taste awesome with grape or blackberry jelly!

My Grandma made these scones to take to teas and for special occasions. Her friends begged for the recipe and she wouldn't give. I think we should share gifts and these are a gift. Serve with butter, jam or cheese.

Light and flaky, this scone is just fine as is, or mix in chopped fruit, spices or a savory addition.

Lovely light scones - with a hint of strawberry fruit. For a real treat, you could serve these warm with real strawberries and clotted cream.

This is a melt-in-your-mouth scone that 's barely sweetened. It 's divine with clotted cream and your favorite jam.
