I love this recipe - my stepmom used to make it when I was little, we called it Snow on the Mountain. Such a quick easy recipe, cant go wrong with that!

This was pretty decent even though we were all skeptical at first. My picky 2 year old even ate this one and that's surprising. It's worth a try!

This was really good - my husband was skeptical, but then he ate three! (and so did I) I didn't use buns, just hot dogs (split), with the potatoes, and shredded cheese, with mustard and ketchup. Six year old liked it too. And super easy - perfect!

I love these! I first ate them at a friend's house as a teenager. I don't put them on buns. I also add mustard and chopped onions to the potatoes before I put them on the hotdogs. Unbelievably tasty!

My dad also used to make these, but without the buns. You cut the dogs in half lengthwise, place them face up on the sprayed baking sheet, then fill with the mashed potatoes (instant works fine, and you can leave out the salt) and topped with sliced American cheese. I even sprinkle seasonings on top. They are great with ketchup. So easy! Thanks for the recipe! I'll try it with buns next time!

This is EXACTLY the same recipe my Dad would cook for us to give Mom a break. These are SO good! My husband loves them!
