This was so easy and very good. To lower the fat and shave off 100 calories per serving I used lettuce leaves in place of the taco shells. We all enjoyed this meal.

These are spot on in regards to seasoning! Very good and healthy alternative to the real thing. Also good in lettuce wraps!

Oh these were good! I added chili and some coriander (cilantro?) that had to be used up, and think the recipe would still be great without these additions. I can't see myself ever eating a beef taco again. Many thanks to submitter

I was very skeptical about this recipes, being new to lentils, however I must say myself and my family (4 of my 5 children)loved it. It doesn't taste like meat but it's still pretty good. take the plunge and try it;-)

My "meat and potatoes" husband couldn't believe these were so good! I make these now at least once a month, and am experimenting with turning them into Burritos as recommended by some other reviewers. Fantastic recipe!

Brilliant, delicious, and so easy! I used veg broth and added some garlic scapes from the CSA. This is so much better, taste-wise and health-wise, than any processed-soy meat substitute.

This recipe looked so good but I was more in the mood for enchiladas. So I cooked the lentils as was stated in this recipe. I mixed them with a small can of refried beans, 1/4c of taco seasoning, and some water. I then wrapped them up in tortillas and topped with salsa and cheese. What a healthy and fiberfull dinner! Thank you so much for teaching me to cook lentils.

Very good. I used this as nacho topping layering the lentils, salsa, and shredded cheese. I would make this again.

This was delicious. Better than I thought it would be. I added some green chilis to the lentils and I didn't have any cumin, so I used taco seasoning instead. Very good! I will make it again.

Great recipe, I will make this again. But I will add: * 1/8 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes * 1/8 teaspoon paprika * 1/4 teaspoon salt * 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Top marks for this recipe. I must admit I was skeptical about making this recipe and so was my husband (he kept joking he had the pizza place on standby!) but we needn't have worried. Very yummy served in soft wraps. I wouldn't go as far as saying it was just like a beef taco but it's a good alternative. I had some salad and lentils left over so I had them as a salad the next day. This makes a great taco salad too. Will be using this recipe again and again for sure.
