This was a tasty way to incorporate lentils into a meal. I effectively used them as a fajita filling using wraps nd trimmings as suggested by other reviewers. I will be making this again.

I used beef broth instead of the chicken and they tuned out wonderfully. Mine were kind of runny so I drained the extra liquid. Couldn't tell they weren't meat. A new favorite.

Very very good. My family was somewhat skeptical about this one but it really held up to the good reviews. The 1 cup of lentils made plenty of "meat" for our family of 6. I believe altogether we had 11 tacos and I have some leftover. I tried this with both corn and flour and I prefer the corn tortillas. In place of all the spices I simply used 1 pkg. of low salt taco seasoning. This is a nice inexpensive meal. It works well when you have forgotten to take something out to defrost for dinner. Will definately make again. Thanks !

This is amazing! I made this filling as a vegetarian option for a taco dinner party. This filling was way more popular than the beef or shredded chicken! Tonight it's tacos just for us, and we are not bothering with the meat - lentils all the way.

At hit for this meat eater. I used beef broth, not chicken. Next time I will use a high quality salsa, not store brand or just have it one the side. I don't think you really need the salsa mixed in. Makes more than 6 servings(which is a good thing), will try the leftovers for lunch. Will make these again and again******! Lentils? Have heard about them for years. Who would have thunk it?

These were good. I spread some guacamole on the inside of the shell and omitted the sour cream. I did not think (as others have written in their reviews) you wouldn't be able to tell it's not beef if you weren't told...

I made these last night and just thinking about them makes my mouth water. The people who ate them not knowing they weren't beef didn't notice. These tacos are much healthier than beef tacos, and taste just as good. The leftovers can easily make nachos! The only thing I altered was adding salt and only 1/2 cup of salsa.

These were excellent! If you weren't thinking about it and took a bite, you'd think they were normal ground beef tacos! They tasted the same. These are great for a budget too! I had some left over lentil filling because we ran out of taco shells and I just ate them plain. YUM!

I don't normally review things for this site, but I had to here. These are virtually indistinguishable from meat tacos, are much healthier, and any leftover lentils make a fantastic plate of nachos come to life (along with cheese and peppers). These have replaced meat tacos in our house. (Insert superlative here, they all apply!)

This tasted okay. We definitely ate it without groaning, but it was a lot of work and not much bang.

These were great and very easy! We might add a bit more "kick" next time but really enjoyed them as an alternative to soy meatless crumbles.

Not quite right. I'll keep looking for the one I've made before. (Too much onion perhaps?)

This is one of the best lentil recipes around! I am a vegetarian so I substituted vegetable broth for the chicken broth. I also used olive oil and a whole jar of salsa.
