This was just what I was looking for. It's so nice that it goes together so quickly and you don't have to think 3 hours ahead for buns. (These took about an hour, maybe a little less.) I used half a recipe and divided it into 8 pieces for hot dogs. I think it could have been divided into more pieces and left to rise a little longer, as the buns were fairly dense. But they were good that way.

Lovely recipe - I cut the measurements down to 4, used dried skimmed milk and water and added extra salt and they came out amazing. So easy and I will be adding various extras. Thank you

Excellent recipe. I subbed 2 c of the flour with whole wheat and warmed the liquids on the stove instead of the microwave. Just a note of caution - don't heat the milk mixture too hot or it could kill the yeast (so I've been told) and then your bread won't rise. Thanks for such a great recipe!

These buns were truly, as the title suggests, very tasty! My hubby has to have a burger once a week and I decided to make something fresh rather than buying the ususal at the grocery store. Used honey instead of sugar. I brushed the tops with an egg wash and then with sesame seeds. Drew said that they were excellent Charlene. Thanks so much!!

These are so good and easy to make. Hubby and the kids were eating so many of them by themselves when they came out of the oven I was concerned about having enough to actually have with supper. Thank you so much for this recipe. Will definately be making tons of these in the future.

Wow, what an easy and fast bread/roll; I can make this quickly, after work, for an accompaniment with dinner. I added dried tarragon and dill to mine, and I make it as a dinner roll recipe -- but with the added herbs, it's nice as a savory breakfast addition, as well. I always substitute extra virgin olive oil for the vegetable oil, and I even placed less than called for, in the original recipe; it always bakes perfectly. Thank you for a delicious roll!

The recipe was excellent and I added the Italian herbs as suggested by one of the reviewers. Made three rounds and must say the room temperature plays a very important role for the dough to rise. I left the heater on in all 3 attempts in a confine room but on the last attempt the weather was colder and the dough did not double in size as good. Good to check the weather forecast if you are relying on extra external heat.

This was a fantastic recipe! I'd gone to the store to get hotdog buns and came back with burger buns. I didn't feel like going back to the store and had the ingredients for this recipe. I'm glad I tried it! I substituted whole wheat flour for all-purpose flour, and it came out perfect. My boyfriend said the buns were the best part of the whole meal!
