"This is a traditional tartar sauce complete with hardboiled egg and capers. Can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days."

Original Recipe Yield 1 1/4 cups
 

Ingredients

  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/3 cup sweet pickle relish
  • 1 tablespoon minced capers
  • 1 hard-cooked egg, chopped
  • salt to taste
  • salt and white pepper to taste
  • 1 dash Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 dash hot pepper sauce

Directions

  1. In a small bowl, mix together mayonnaise, sweet pickle relish, capers, and egg. Season to taste with salt and white pepper. Add a dash of Worcestershire sauce and a dash hot pepper sauce. Stir. Chill.
