Great recipe. I think the onions really added a great flavor to this sauce.

Delish... better than any store or restuarant! So fresh. I used my own pickles (had no relish on hand)and just the perfect flavor!!

I love this recipe. It is way better than store bought. I used low 3 parts fat mayo and 1 part non fat yogurt, a little extra relish, added about 1T. of minced bread & butter pickles, and a dash of Texas Pete for kick. This recipe is too quick and easy to make, plus lower in sodium and no preservatives! Why would anyone every buy store bought after tasting this? Next time, instead of Texas Pete, I might mince some roasted jalepeno or green chili (we like it hot!)

I'll never buy prepackaged tarter sauce again! So simple and yet so much better than anything I've bought at the store. Only change was instead of sweet pickle relish, I put dried dill weed. I didn't have any relish but still found this to be very tasty. Kids agree!

HOLY SMOKES WHAT A RECIPE!!!!! This is one kick sauce! I didn't measure but eyeballed everything to my liking. I know I used more relish than called for, b/c I like it tart. I also just squeezed half a lemon. Wowie wowie, I'll never buy store bought again. Also fyi, the sauce didn't taste good to me when I first made it, but I tried it after letting it set in the fridge for 10 min. That's when it tasted GREAT!!!

I probably would've given this recipe 5 stars had I made it exactly the way it said, but I did make some alterations to the recipe. I used 2 Tablespoons of the sweet relish instead of 1 like some of the other reviewers, had no lemon juice so I used a dash of lime instead and added 1 teaspoon of dried dill, it turned out sooo good, I could've eaten it alone! Never again will I buy Tartar Sauce in a bottle! Enjoy!

Never, never will I buy the bottled stuff again! I was out of tartar sauce and was having fish for dinner, and didn't want to go to the grocery. So I made this. So easy, and so, so good. I substituted dried onion flakes for the minced onion. Def. add the lemon juice. Gives it a great zing.

This did require another scoopful of pickle relish, but otherwise it was really good! Just like the tartar sauce they serve in the authentic fish and chips shop. I served it with fried shrimp, and there was none to put back in the fridge for leftovers. Thanks for sharing!

This was so easy to make. It tastes great with fried seafood. I used the left over sauce to make tuna fish salad for lunch the next day. This has a really good flavor.

I really liked this recipe though I used dill relish instead of sweet to suit our tastes. I also cut back on the lemon juice because of the dill.

This is the perfect ratio of tarter sauce ingredients. For a twist, add a half teaspoon of creamy horseradish. But the recipe is perfect as it, too.
