Very tart but I love it that way. :-) The consistency was strange and a little too "frosty" but that's probably because I didn't use an ice cream freezer, just stuck it in my freezer. Next time I will stir periodically in order to keep the texture from being too frosty. Thanks so much, it was yummy!

I made this without an ice cream maker- I just put in the freezer and went to stir it every hour. You do want to set your freezer on high for this, or it can take up to 5 hours to set to a sorbet consistency. It came out really good, and now my husband and kids want to try it with ALL kinds of fruit! It was very sweet and Lemony, just the way we love it.

Really, really good. I cut back on the sugar a little. Can't wait to make more.

Good. Be sure to add all the zest. I didn't, and it needed it.

Delish! I've made this twice now and you don't need an ice cream maker. Just stick it in a container in the freezer. I think it is a little too sweet for my taste, the taste is exactly like regular lemonade you're used to. The first time I added a half cup of orange vodka, and alcohol doesn't freeze, so it turned out to be a slush. I just called it a frozen vodka lemonade and everyone loved it. The second time I used half lemon juice and half lime juice and no alcohol. This one was a good sorbet after four hours, but the next day it was hard and flaky. I only had a shot of Maker's Mark whiskey left, so I poured it on top, and the alcohol melted it perfectly into a frozen drink! I was doubtful, but the Maker's Mark was amazing with the flavors and my husband got drunk by accident! Everyone loved this.

Great! Simple, easy, and full of lemon flavor. Like the other reviewer, I think that the sugar amount is just right.

So full of flavor and perfectly tart. Make no adjustments on the sugar. I used the zest and juice of one medium lemon plus bottled lemon juice. My husband loved it so much that he now claims it is an aphrodesiac!

Tart is right! I think the sugar needs to upped a bit on this one. In lemon sorbet, I like the lemon flavor to "pop" out in comparison to the sugar-this one is more like a fireworks explosion of lemon!
