I did not add the hot sauce so the kids could eat it and it still had great flavor!

I made this exactly with only one minor change... I did not have an onion so I used about a tablespoon of onion soup mix. Used all other ingredients as listed. My daughter couldn't get enough and my boyfriend said, after the 3rd day, this was the best pork roast he's ever eaten. That right there is a 5 star review!

I absolutely loved this. I didn't have red wine vinegar, so I used some Apple Cider Vinegar. I also filled the crock pot with diced red potatoes and carrots. The veggies have an amazing flavor and I love this! I will be making it again.

Excellent as is, or a base for other recipes. I make it exactly as listed, except I use apple cider vinegar because that's what's in the cupboard, and fresh garlic because I prefer it. And I increase the quantities because I have a large family and buy large roasts. The first day I serve it as a main meat dish, with potatoes or rice (the sauce is great over rice) and a veggie. I use the remaining meat to make pulled -pork sandwiches with Sticky Finger's sauce (my favorite), or pork tacos with Taco Slaw from this site, or sweet and sour pork. Next I want to try a pork chili with the meat as a base.

I did not really like this flavor very much. The pork was indeed very tender, but I thought it was too sweet and too.. well, tangy. I also didn't like the flavor of the steamed/boiled/slow cooked onions. If I was ever to do this again (unlikely), I would brown the outside of the pork first for more flavor and perhaps saute the onions beforehand as well. Onion flavor was too strong.

I pretty much tripled the seasonings and added carrots and potatoes like one reviewer suggested. The veggies were great but the pork was so dry, I could hardly eat it. I don't know what to do to prevent that. It was really bad.

This was a fantastic recipe which draws rave reviews from my party guests! I only changed a couple things, I substituted a large sausage pizza for the pork and left out the rest of the ingredients. I also didn't use the crockpot as I ordered from dominos!
