Used chicken stock instead of water. Excellent. Next time we'll thicken the juice before serving.

This was so great and so easy! I used brown sugar (all I had) and added two capfulls of Simply Orange juice w/pineapple. So very good.

Absoutely wonderful! The roast was perfect, fall-off-the bone delicious, and moist! My hubby and son loved it, and asked me to always make pork roast this way! I cooked 3 hrs on high, and 1 hr on low. I used bone-in that was larger than what was called for, as that was what I had. I read a number of reviews that said the sauce was too sweet, but I think that really depends on taste. I actually added a bit more ketchup, to give it more of a bbq taste. I used apple cider vinegar, as well, as I did not have the wine vinegar. My son wanted to make sure I "thanked" the person who posted the recipe. :)

This is super easy and awesome tasting. No changes needed at all! I normally cook on high for 3 hours, then turn to low for the rest of the time. Thanks for posting! This has become a regular in our rotation.

I never have to much luck with pork roasts for some reason but this one turned out real tender and juicy. Before serving I pulled it apart into big chunky pieces and threw it in the oven with some bbq sauce to perk the flavor up at bit. My husband really liked it and he is not a big pork fan.

I made this recipe exactly as written and it was fantastic! The meat was very tender and flavorful. I served it with a toasted hamburger bun and bbq sauce for my husband, and I ate it just as it was out of the pot and we both loved it. I agree with the previous poster--it's not fair to rate a recipe down when you change it.

I have cooked pork roasts in the slow cooker for years. I use coke as the liquid but your recipe is GREAT!!!. For the person who said it was the WORST, don't pay any attention to that. This was great and will definitely be a keeper.

This is very good. Simple and easy. It could easily be a 4.5 - 5 rating. I added a bit more seasoning salt pepper and garlic (our tastes), browned the pork before putting in the slow cooker. By adding small potatoes and carrots you have a complete meal all in one pot.

I will look forward to making this but felt compelled to say that adding potatoes to any slow cook recipe robs the dish of it's flavor, mainly the salt. I will stick with the egg noodles, add a little garlic and let you know how it goes.

I tripled the seasonings, and there was no taste to it. Where was the "Tang"? It was bland, and believe it or not, it became dry. Was a real nice roast to begin with. I cooked it for 6.5 hours.

I made this today and it was delicious! I added potatos and baby carrots but didn't change anything else. The meat was tender and juicy and the veggies were perfect. This was a great crock pot meal and I will definately make it again.

I wasn't that impressed with this. You could barely taste the tangy-ness. I do have to say that the pork was tender, but didn't have much flavour at all. I put potatoes in the bottom b/c i didn't have any onion, but everything else i followed. The potatoes had more flavour then the meat.

This is a good classic recipe. I used the suggestion to put potatoes in the bottom of the slow-cooker. However, next time I will poke holes the pork and put the potatoes on top. I think this will give the pork more flavor.
