DIRECTIONS
Place shrimp and scallops in a large resealable plastic bag. In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the butter, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder and paprika. Microwave at 50% power for 1-1/2 minutes or until butter is melted. Stir to blend; set aside 1/3 cup for basting. Pour remaining marinade over shrimp and scallops. Seal bag and turn to coat; refrigerate for 1 hour, turning occasionally.
Drain and discard marinade. Alternately thread shrimp and scallops on metal or soaked wooden skewers.
Grill, uncovered, over medium-hot heat for 6 minutes, turning once. Brush with reserved marinade. Grill 8-10 minutes longer or until shrimp turn pink and scallops are opaque.

Really good! We agree with other reviews that the scallops do not hold the flavor of the marinade as well as the shrimp - however, the grilled scallops were SO delicious that they really don't need the marinade flavor! I just squeezed a bit of lemon on my scallops and they were great. Served with parmesan couscous and steamed green beans. Would also be great over pasta or rice! I used less butter than the recipe called for, and it did not make a difference.

I agree with the other raters about the marinade being lost on the scallops. If I made this again, which I might, I would make lots of extra marinade (it was delicious) and serve the extra as a dipping sauce during dinner.

I did this recipe but I used a garlic, onion salt seasoning mix and I added 1Tbsp of soy. My kids loved it. I made it with 50 Shrimp and 10 scallops (since me and my girlfriend are the only ones that like scallops). I'll do this one again.

I loved the shrimp flavor on this recipe but I didn't feel it did the scallops justice. The whole family skipped the scallops (which we all love scallops) and ate the shrimp. If I were to make this one again I would just use the shrimp.

My seven year old picked this recipe to make on her night to make dinner with mom! It was fairly easy and she had fun making patterns skewering the shrimp and scallops. The best surprise was how awesome the dinner tasted. There was not one piece left. We made one substitution because we ran out of lemon juice. We subbed lime juice. It tasted delicious!

This was really good, but scallops weren't all that. So the second time we did this we just doubled up the shrimp and grilled some small steaks with it. YUM

This simple recipe was quick and delicious. The shrimp held the flavor of the marinade better than the scallops, but the whole meal was great. We paired it with Italian cheese-flavored rice and broccoli florets and a crisp California Pinot Gris.
