I made this exactly as listed except I used a sugar substitute. The celery seed is over bearing. I did not like.

This is a big hit, even with my kiddo. I used Red Wine Vinegar and halved the sugar. Like others I used celery salt and added brown mustard. Note, it is still very sweet. Next time I will add even less dressing. Even so, I am sure this will become a staple in our refrigerator. I'm sure it will be a 5 star recipe for me next time when I reduce the sugar.

This surprised me how good it was! I'm definitely saving this for the next time we have salad and I'm out of dressing :)

Used Splenda in place of the sugar. Think this might be good on cole slaw, too. I don't buy bottled salad dressings any more...plenty of good and easy ones on this site.

Only change I made to this was to cut the sugar to 1/4 cup. This seemed to be the perfect amount according to my husband. As to my taste, I could probably have cut it even further to 1/8 cup and would have been happiest with that. Either way, thanks so much for a wonderful dressing recipe!! I used it to marinate raw broccoli florets with red onion and tomato wedges. Delicious!!

Well I was out of both celery seeds and celery salt, but I did have celery. So, I used some celery leaves.I put it all in the blender. It was wonderful. My family really enjoyed it. I will be buying celery seed, but in a pinch, celery leaves work! Thank you for the great recipe.

Was great, will use splenda instead of sugar next time though, and just a little less of it.

Very tasty! Good enough that I'd make it again. I used plain white vinegar and next time I will try something more flavorful. So simple but it beats the heck out of anything bought in the store!

Delicious sweet dressing! I too discovered I had no celery seed, so I used celery salt. I will definitely make this again!
