My family really liked it! Though, I have to say that I did end up adding extra ingredients. I reduced the honey a bit b/c I got lazy and didn't feel like squeezing out 1/4 C and I added maybe 2-3 T of soy sauce and a few shakes of cayenne. My toddler loved it too!

I thought this was perfect. My two toddlers kept asking for more. I cooked my rice with a chicken bullion cube in the water just to bump the flavor. I think that because of the kids' reactions I can add some veggies next time, like broccoli and carrots or sugar snap peas. This one is sure to happen again and again.

I didn't cook it with the rice I thought that would be too much. I added more honey to the recipe but reduced the dijon mustard. Everyone loved it and I'm sure to keep making it.

Very good, I used crushed pineapple instead of sliced - tasted a lot like sweet and sour chicken. Also followed the advice of a few people and used a bit of soy sauce, which worked perfectly in the dish. I'll be making this one again!

It was a great recipe. I bought Honey Dijon instead of regular. Plus, my husband is a picky eater and hates mustard. He didn't even notice there was mustard in the dish, and even said it was awesome.

As a busy & single student, I cut this down to 1 serving and brought the other half for lunch the next day. I loved it so much that I emailed it to my mom and grandparents. I usually don't make Polynesian-style dishes, but this was a great and easy twist on my typical chicken dinners. I used fresh pineapple instead of canned and was able to get enough juice from it for the recipe. I served it with brown rice.

I Love this recipe. We usually have left overs but we didnt this time. I chopped up the chicken like you do for a stir fry and I added soy sauce and doubled the pepper. I also used chili oil and sesame oil instead of veg oil. I added Veggies also. Thanks for the great recipe.

Made this recipe twice, both times great. Second time, used chicken tenders instead of breasts and cut them into pieces when almost cooked. Was generous with the chicken seasoning, esp. thyme. Added splash of soy sauce as someone here suggested. Let the chicken marinate in the pineapple mixture in fridge overnight - the next day, absolutely wonderful! Served over a basmati/ginger rice.

I added mushrooms, assorted bell peppers, and onions to this. I also added about 1/3 cup of teriyaki sauce. It turned into more of a sweet and sour chicken, but it was great! I did not want to make it as described it seemed a little bland otherwise.
