This is from the 1999 edition of the cookbook, and boy it's a favorite in our house! We make it at least 1-2 times a month, it's that simple. It is a sweet chicken recipe that we serve with a salad and plenty of crusty bread. We use the leftover juices and dip our bread into it.
My picky 5 and 7 year old would eat this everyday if I let them (they prefer this to mac n cheese or chicken nuggets!!!). I usually only use 3-4 chicken breasts. If you are making 8 chicken breasts, then double up on everything else for the pour over marinade.
Lastly, I utilize leftover chicken for salads, and it's great! Enjoy this very simple dump and go recipe!
