Perfect! As close to the packet flavor as you can get without actually being the packet, and so much better for you. I questioned adding the oregano- thought it might be overwhelming- but I did anyway because I am a firm believer in trying the recipe as written first, and it was fine. This will be my "go to" taco seasoning recipe, no more store bought packets for me! Oh and I added the entire batch to 2lbs of ground turkey for a taco pasta bake. I like a lot of flavor though!

I followed the recipe exactly and doubled it, which was the perfect amount for 2 pounds of ground beef. This was a million times better than the packet I normally use. My husband said they were the best tacos he's ever had!

I loved the flavor and heat, but added a little brown sugar and water to ease up the spiciness for my kids. Really great recipe! My family and friends went back for seconds.

This is now the only seasoning I use for tacos. I have to be careful with store-bought mixes because I get migraines from MSG. This is, by far, the most delicious taco seasoning recipe I've tried AND it is MSG free!

No more packets of taco seasoning for me, this recipe was delicious and natural. I only put in half the amount of salt required, and I used it with Boca crumbles since I am vegetarian along with gregsgirl's suggestion of adding 1/2 tbsp flour and about 1/2 cup of water to the "meat" with the seasoning. It came out wonderful :) My meat-eating boyfriend loved the finished tacos too.
