Very good... inexpensive (I bought bulk of what I didn't have and spent less than $1)... not too spicey, and easy to make a lot of.

I will NEVER buy taco seasoning packets again! I have used this seasoning in so many dishes and it works wonderfully! My family and friends have commented on the taste being fresher!

Looks like I'm in the minority here, but I'll stick with the Old El Paso reduced sodium packet. This worked in a pinch, since I had started making tacos but discovered I didn't have the seasoning. It was too spicy for my family, and my meat didn't have the same consistency as it does when I use the store-bought stuff.

Perfect! Thanks so much - saved me from running to the store and buying a packet. Used sprinkle of cayenne pepper instead of red pepper flakes (didn't have any)

I made 'Mexican Mess' by using 2 tbsp of this mix, 2 c sour cream, and one pkg of cream cheese, blended well. Top with grated cheese, and you have an awesome dip! I have made this with the packaged seasoning many times, and tonight made it with this recipe...to RAVE reviews!!! Much cheaper, and better tasting! Thanks!!!!

I'll never buy a little packet of taco seasoning again! This was great and I can't believe how much better it is for you than the sodium packed stuff from the store.

This recipe is great! I added extra cumin since I really like that flavor. I will never buy the taco seasoning packets again, if you already have all these spices on hand it is way cheaper to make it yourself. Thanks for posting!!

I will NEVER EVER buy taco seasoning again. This is absolutely delicious. I made a jar of this and it's now in with my other spices. This is a perfect blend and you just add according to your taste. Thank you Bill

I found myself panicking when I had everything for soft tacos but no seasoning! I tried this out (minus the red pepper because I was feeding a toddler as well :) and it was dee-lish! Hubby, who is super picky, also liked it. I found that one batch as written was perfect for a little over one pound of ground meat. I plan on making a big batch of this and storing! yum!

Very good! I have used this recipe now for a year. No more packeges for me!!! If you want to turn this into a Chicken Fajita mix, just add a spoon of cornstartch to it. Allows it to thicken and stick to the chicken.
