This was fantastic. The whole family enjoyed it and the best part was it was so easy to make. My 7 year old actually requested this for his birthday dinner.

Pretty good basic recipe...didn't change very much except to add a can of black beans in with the ground turkey. I also only cooked the crescent rolls for half the time as suggested. Turned out tasty. My husband thought it was good, my 2 year old ate it and my 3.5 year old picked it apart - ate the beans, not thrilled with the sour cream...will probably make again and add to it - served it with sliced avocado and salsa...

I omitted the sour cream (my husband hates it) and Actually topped it with Taco Doritos. It was GREAT!! Will definitely do this again!

This was super yummy and super easy! I used ground turkey, which turned out great. The great thing about this recipe is that you can add whatever your family prefers with tacos to the layers. Enjoy : )

It was delicious. The only thing I did different was added Rotel to my meat and only used about 1/4 cup sour cream and added 2 tbsp taco sauce to it. I also used plain cheddar cheese instead of the mexican kind.

Like everyone else, I tweaked it a little :) I made 4 servings. I used reduced fat crecent rolls and cooked them for 6 minutes first (not the full 11-13). For the meat mixture I added some cooked brown rice to bulk it up,onions and reduced salt taco seasoning. When that was cooked I added 1/4 cup low fat sour cream and mixed it all together. It gave the meat a creamy texture. So I layered as follows: crecent rolls, fat free refried beans, meat, 2% milk cheese, tortilla chips. Then popped back into the oven for 5 more minutes. Once it was cooked I added the salsa. This recipe is so "tweakable" you really cant go wrong with it.

This is really good! I did take the advice of some others and added a layer of refried beans just because I really like beans. I also added garnishes of diced tomatoes, sliced green olives and chopped green onions on top of the finished dish which made it look very appealing. The leftovers heated up nicely.

This was so good! I used Turkey meat and doritos instead of what the recipe called for. I have to agree with some of the other users about the nutritional value being poor, but it is great for a "cheat" day.

Not bad, but I may as well have made nachos for dinner. I liked it, but didn't love it. Was frustrated with no pan size included (13 x 9). The crescent dough was a bit weird since it was kinda sweet. I wouldn't recommend baking the dough for entire suggested time or it will be too dark after a second time in the oven. Salsa is a must - I used on the side, but maybe it would be better as another layer. You definitely don't need a full bag of chips or much shredded cheese on top. Rice is a good side. Kids didn't go for it at all.

I have to say this was a simple and delicious meal. I added refried beans and typical taco topping and my husband and boys loved it. I was pleasantly surpised with my 8 year old who asked for seconds because he is a very picky eater. THANKS!! def going to make this again!

Let me start with, my teenage son said "Finally! A decent dinner!" I added a can of black beans to the meat to make it more substantial and mixed in 1/2 a jar of chunky salsa, only used half of the sour cream than what was called for and a fraction of the chips (fat!fat!fat!) just enough for the crunchy texture. Turned out fab!

This recipe really surprised me, it was tastier than I expected. Yes, it's heavy on the calories and fat, but I used reduced fat crescent rolls and fat free sour cream. I could have also used baked tortilla chips and low fat cheese to make it "skinnier" but it turned out great with the changes I made. I would make it again.

I made this last night !!! My boyfriend loved it -- it was SO unbelievably easy -- I only strayed from the recipe in adding chopped scallions to the top of the sour cream layer -- think mixing salsa with sour cream would have given it a nice tangy kick -- this will definitely go into the line up.

I like to hear how people tweaked recipes since it shows me how to be creative:) so I don't mind their ratings on the changed recipes.. So- as others suggested- I made this more lowfat by layering lowfat crescent rolls, chopped london broil sauteed with low salt taco seasoning (DELICIOUS VARIATION! I will use each time), salsa instead of tomatoes, lowfat sour cream/greek yogurt mixture, & lastly lowfat mexican blend cheese on top (omitted tortilla chips). I served with shredded lettuce & chopped tomatoes for garnish. Outstanding taste/combination and I will make this again! Thanks everyone for sharing all your "tweaks".

This was pretty good. However, I think next time I will add a layer of salsa. Just needed something else. I always have pre cooked hamburger in the freezer, so that cut my time in half.

This recipe was very good and filling I also used lipton's rice sides mexican rice as a side dish. Even my picky husband enjoyed this meal. I cooked ground turkey instead of ground beef with chopped green bell peppers and onions. Other than those additions I followed the recipe.
