Kids ate it up with no problem! I did add a jar of salsa with white corn & black beans with it. The only thing about it was it was alittle messy. Not sure if the salsa had something to do with it.

This is really great... but holy saturated fats! I used sirloin ground beef as well as cutting down the sour cream, cheese, and tortilla chips by A LOT. And it was great! I also think you could easily only use half a can of crescent rolls, I'm going to do that next time. I'm sure this recipe is even more amazing with all that delicious fat in there, but I have to keep my girlish figure. : )

My family loved this! The only thing I did different was add 1 can of mild Rotel (drained), and I didn't have any tortilla chips. I hope to try it with the tortilla chips to give it that extra crunch! Adding a layer of refried beans might be good too.

This dish was a big hit at our house. My 4 year old said it was the "best dinner in the whole world!" It is super easy and a great alternative to taco's. Also a definite kid and husband pleaser. I added onion to the ground meat when cooking and used baked tortilla chips on top. The addition of chopped lettuce would be great after cooking. Overall a great recipe!

Very yummy! Great for picky eaters, you can top with what you like, just like a regular taco. Baked the crescent rolls different (package said 375). Used ground turkey instead of beef (we do that with most our dishes). Delish, will make again.

I used ground turkey and seasoned with my own spices and added picante sauce, rather than using taco seasoning. I added just enough cheese and chips to cover the top of the dish. I also didn't add the sour cream and, instead, served it on the side. It was absolutely delicious!

I followed this exact. I thought it was very good, but next time I will add a can of refried beans to the mix. It is a simple recipe with great results that my whole family enjoyed.

I read a lot of the reviews first. This was good and very quick and easy. I added taco sauce, hot sauce, and dried jalepenos to the meat mix.(This added a lot of flavor to the dried mix suggested in the recipe.) Also, I used a can of veg. refried beans, chopped olives, green onion and layered the cheese "under and over" the corn chips. I'm a little (up in the air) about the crescent roll bottom.. I may try something "crunchier" next go around. But... all in all, my husband LOVED it! I'll make it again. This recipe reminds me of a 7-layer "dip" recipe.. but hot. Way to go recipe submitter! Thanks!

It was great! I forgot about the chips until I was just finishing it off, so I just put a bowl of "Tostitos Scoops" on the table, and everyone loved it! Next time I will DEFINITELY double this recipe, It was barely enough for the three kids, let alone the adults :]

I followed the directions, but I even added salsa to the meat while it cooked. I also added a layer of black beans. I think there was way too much sour cream for this dish. I will try this again and revise some, but I will leave out the sour cream and just garnish with it when serving.
