This was a huge hit. I say that because when my husband first saw the recipe in my hand, he immediately began to complain. Of course, I ignored him. When this meal was prepared, it tasted so good. My husband even said (and I quote), "When you set your mind to cook Mexican food, you do an awesome job!" The only changes I made were the same suggested previously. I added a can of olives, Mexican corn, and seasoned diced tomatoes. The green chili’s made it a wee bit spicy, but no one seemed to mind. I took someone's suggestion and baked without the cheese topping for 15 minutes, then added cheese topping (and crumbled tortilla chips) and baked a remaining 10-15 minutes. I used a mixture of sharp cheddar and spicy Monterey jack cheeses. We added sour cream and guacamole on our plates. I served with a lettuce salad with tomatoes and salsa. This recipe will be one of my keepers.

This was a huge hit this evening. We had two extra neighborhood boys at the table, and everyone went back for seconds and thirds. I served it with a simple salad of lettuce and tomatoes along with salsa, guacamole, sour cream, and tortilla chips. The only change I made was to put it in the oven for 15 minutes without the extra cheese, then I added the cheese and some crushed chips for the last 15 minutes (like another reviewer suggested). I will definitely keep this recipe for when I need a covered dish and when I have a house full of children and teens.

This was very good and easy. I used Dreamfields pasta which has lower glycemic index only has 5 gr. carbs per serving instead of regular pasta which has 41 gr. In addition I added 1 can mexican Rotel( diced tomatos and green chilis with cilantro) and 1 can Ranch Style beans. This recipe is easy to modify into a 1 dish meal if you dont want to use a bunch of pans.

Quick and easy. I didn't have the chilies and I substituted whole wheat noodles for macaroni. Definitely something I will make again.

Big hit with the kids. I didn't have the chilies, so I substituted some of the tomato sauce with salsa. Will definitely make again.

I thought this recipe was "Ok", but my husband loved it! After reading other reviews, I added 1 can of Diced tomatoes to the recipe. I think the recipe needs some crunch to it, like a vegetable or tortilla chips on top. I also only put it in the oven for 25 minutes, which is plenty. At the 20 minute mark was when I added the cheese topping.

This was just very blah. After adding the tomato sauce it looked and smelled more like sloppy joes than tacos, which isn't a good thing in this house. We ate it, but just because it would have been a ton of food to waste.

A surprising family favorite - even the picky ones! They all love tacos but I wanted something different. I added a layer of broken up tortilla chips on top and will likely add some corn next time (and maybe some chili beans).

This was so easy and my kids really liked it. I needed something I could throw together with things I had on hand and I am so glad I tried this one. I left out the chilies and it was still excellent.

This was great! I follwed the recipes, just didn't add the chopped green chilies because I didn't have them, and I used the medium shell pasta cause that's what I had. My two year old ate it up and My husband and I did too! It was great!

So easy! Printed it out and gave it to my 11 yr. daughter to make when I was sick with the flu. Good comfort food. Had her add one can on diced tomatoes, a small can of corn and a can of black beans (drained and rinsed)

This was surprisingly good, but we made a few changes. We added some corn, a can of black beans, and we used the Taco Seasoning I recipe from this site and cut the chili powder in half, so that it wasn't so spicy. I didn't think I would like this, but it was delicious!

This was a very good meal! I did add the crushed doritos to the top and then the cheese over them, but it would have been good without them as well. Thanks!
