This is a very good, quick recipe. You can omit the 1/2 c water and not drain the tomatoes and green chilis.

Meh... it was ok but not great. The tortilla chips were really soggy abd the flavor was kinda bland. Maybe I cooked too long? I doubt I'll make this one again

I made some adjustments. I added refried beans and layered corn tortillas. It turned out really great! A hit with the family.

I thought this was a very good recipe. I added onions and garlic to the meat mixture. I also added red pepper flakes and a bit of chili powder to spice it up a bit. Overall it was very good!

This wasn't bad, but not my favorite. I have to agree with others that the chips were alittle soggy. My husband covered it with hot sauce and then ate it. Probably won't make it again. Thanks anyway!

I'd rate this recipe more like 4.5 (if there was such a rating). My family enjoyed it and it was very easy to make. I used fresh tomatoes and didn't have any green chiles on hand... maybe that would have made it a five? Overall, this is a good recipe.

I added red onion and green pepper in place of chilies. The family really liked the recipe!

My husband adores this recipe - he requests it! I make it differently every time; I've added black refried beans and salsa to the mix, or corn. I've tried leaving out the sour cream, which was good. Once I added strips of steak (husband's favorite). I always cook the meat in onions and coconut oil (best for cooking), and top with Tapatio sauce, avocado, and more sour cream. This recipe (8 servings) makes plenty for us to have dinner and several lunches as well - good stuff!

This was a hit with the family! Thanks for the great recipe! We topped ours with sour cream, salsa, diced onion, black olives and diced tomatoes... YUM! I think it would be even tastier if you added beans to the meat mixture, but we haven't tried it that way yet...

This is a great meal. My kids can be pretty picky when it comes to some things, but they loved this meal.

My family thought this was okay. I thought the chips were to soggy. My husband said it needs more cheese. I don't think I will make again.

I made this recipe thinking my kids would love it. After all it was like a taco. However, it was not so. I do have one very picky eater and he was just not into it. Personally, it was just OK for me. I made the recipe exactly as was listed, but it just wasn't what I thought it was going to be. The chips were soggy and soaked up all the liquid which made the whole thing a little dry. I think it needs more meat and more cheese.

This was simple to make, yet yielded a great result. I made some changes (and didn't measure) by using salsa, frozen corn and a can black beans. I thought it was going to be drippy when baked - but the chips sucked up all the liquid and made a nice 'crust' bottom. I will definately make again and customize with black olives and other favorites.

I left out the sour cream so it was a little hot. It left your mouth with a warm feeling. I would definately use this recipe again!

I used Aldi's salsa instead on the tomatoes & added onion & garlic to the meat while it simmered. It was good. Tasted a lot like the filling in taco bell tacos. Fast & easy dinner with a salad & extra chips.

I threw this together because plain ol' tacos sounded kinda boring. Turns out, it was a good move! It was a big hit at my house, made evident by the fact that it didn't last very long at all!
