My family absolutely loves this recipe! It's extremely simple to make and tastes amazing. Even the pickiest of the pickiest eaters have enjoyed this. The only changes I did when making this is to put some of the cream of chicken mixture on the bottom of the baking dish before placing the chicken in. I also use "pepperidge farms herb stuffing mix" instead of just any regular stuffing mixture. It truly does add a lot of taste to this recipe. I also mix the stuffing with the melted butter before placing it on top of the chicken. This makes sure that the stuffing won't turn out hard or dry when it is done cooking. GREAT RECIPE!!!!!!

I've been making this for years the exact same way. My husband requests this at least once a week. He prefers provolone to swiss. But other than that, i wouldn't change a thing. Super simple and really yummy!

I made this recipe to take to a friend who was taking care of a sick loved one and didn't have time to cook for her family...it went over big! Actually, I made two -- one for our family, too. Very easy and tasty. This would be a great recipe to throw together in the morning before you go to work and then throw in the oven when you get home. Didn't change a thing.

This is super easy to make and tastes fantastic! It's just your basic chicken and stuffing recipe but what I like about it is that I can throw it together in no time when I get home for work. It creates minimal clean-up and tastes great too. I hightly recommend this one for those busy ladies out there.

I loved this!! I actually had a similar recipe my Mother gave me years ago and I didn't try it--wish I had!! So good! Didn't have swiss cheese and used mozarella. Will try swiss next time. Uncovered at end for 10 to "crisp" up the stuffing. Thank you!!!

We liked this and it is nice and easy at the end of a day. Did make the changes suggested. Used white wine and mixed butter with stuffing to make it moister.

This was pretty good, and enjoyed by my family quite a bit. I did make a few minor changes - I added a bit of white wine (Reisling, though not a whole lot) to the milk and soup mixture and used cream of mushroom instead of cream of chicken. I also use a bit of water on my stuffing to make it moist (of which I used Stouffer's chicken stuffing mix) and then mixed it with the sauce before putting it on top of the chicken and cheese. (I didn't want to use the butter.) About the only thing I would do differently next time would be to actually prepare the stuffing before mixing it with the sauce (instead of just using a bit of water) - I think that would make it a bit better. Otherwise, I will definitely be making this recipe again!

Delish is the best way to describe this. I tried it for dinner last night and we really enjoyed the melding of flavors that went into the chicken. Made it just as the recipe states except I added basil, oregano and thyme to the sauce before pouring over the chicken. A KEEPER!

Yum! Thank you for a great recipe. My husband, who doesn't typically like swiss chees, even LOVES this recipe. I've made it several times, with varying crusts, and it's a big hit every time.

added 1/2 frozen spinach to the bottom of the pan, and replaced the milk with white wine. you would think this recipe was much more difficult based on how delicious it tastes!

So quick and easy to make on a weeknight. I added frozen broccoli and it was a whole meal. I think the stuffing brand I used was a little salty but it was still tasty. After my husband finished his plate he asked if I would make it again tomorrow.

DH likes this because it has chicken and swiss - his favorite combo. I usually add a bag of frozen broccoli so we get some veggies too. It's a good casserole.

This recipe came to the rescue when I was trying to stretch my pantry until payday! I had a bag of frozen boneless skinless chicken breast strips, shredded swiss cheese (added after the cr. of chix soup), smart balance instead of butter, and cracker crumbs instead of stuffing--and it still turned out spectacular. The swiss cheese really made the recipe. So good!
