I made this for Christmas dinner and my whole family loved it. The whipping cream gives it a rich flavor, though some may find it needs more salt. Broccoli doesn't agree with me so I substituted brussels sprouts. My five year old, who will not eat green food, ate it. He said the brussels sprouts tasted cheesey. It was a great change from the standard hash brown casserole. I will make this again and again and again.
