I never liked green beans until I found this recipe! I steam my beans in an electric veggie steamer and then add to the cooked sauce. Easy to prepare and delicious!

This is great - simple and flavorful. Instead of the garlic chili sauce, I used a dash each of chili powder and garlic powder. Even my kids loved it!

5+ I served it for dinner and we liked it. I had made quite a bit since we love green beans. The next day I took the leftovers out and tasted it while it was cold. I loved it!!! I served it that way to our company and they loved it too and wanted the recipe. I am planning to make a tray of it and serve it cold as part of the appetizers for the next cookout. You can't go wrong with this recipe - either warm or cold! Thanks submitter.

If I could give this more than 5 stars it would. Tastes just like something from an asian restaraunt! By far the best recipe ive gotten from allrecipes yet!

This sauce is absolutely wonderful. I've made it for all kinds of veggies! (Green beans, asparagus, green peppers etc.) Last night I had left over egg noodles so I cut up some green pepper and carrots and tripled this sauce and cooked it together. Wow - what an awesome side. You can't go wrong making this.

Simple, quick, good. I dice up some scallions and add it for the last minute of stir-fry portion. This makes it even more like you find at a good asian restaurant.

I didn't have any Chili sauce so I used red pepper flakes and it was still delicious. Thanks for a great idea. By the way my 4 year old daughter just walked in and notified me they were delicious too. And she usually doesn't eat green beans

These were really good. I used fresh string beans and only steamed them for 3 minutes because you still have to saute them after the steaming. I added a little more chili sauce, garlic and honey than was called for and I added fresh minced ginger. Very good.

I've been looking for a good and different way to serve green beans - this may be the only way from now on! This sauce is so delicious, a little sweet and a little spicy, and so easy to prepare. I will be making this again and again.

This recipe was awesome! I made it to go with some BBQ ribs. After making the sauce, it didn't look like much, so I doubled it. I don't think that was necessary however. It probably would have been just as good as the recipe stated. I'm just a sauce-crazy person!

I usually modify recipes, but this one is great the way it is! It is fast, easy, and tastes so yummy! I used frozen green beans as another reviewer suggested and they worked perfectly for me as well.
