These are so yummy and easy! I used frozen green beans, so I started the recipe with cooking the beans in the pan first, then added the other ingredients.

Great side dish. I had no problems with the saltiness and there was just a good amount of spiciness for me. Quick and tasty.

These. Were. Delicious. I didn't have honey and I didn't have garlic chili sauce (horray for being a college student on a budget), so I substituted a packet of Equal and used Sriacha hot sauce instead. It still turned out AMAZING. At first, I doubted the green beans would come out well since I was using a microwave steamer. However, the green beans turned out perfectly cooked to just the right tenderness. The sauce was so tasty. It starts out sweet and salty, but ends with a fun, spicy kick. I can definitely reuse the sauce recipe and make other kinds of steamed veggies with it.

Very good. A bit too salty, so I added a bit more honey than called for and I didn't have chili sauce so I used tomato sauce, brown sugar, vinegar cinnamon and allspice to make up the chili sauce.

These were very good. I would have given 5 stars, but it was waaaay to salty. Next time I will reduce the soy sauce to 1T.

My family said never fix green beans any other way again! They loved this recipe. I doubled the sauce because I find most times it's necessary, not with this one! It was too much sauce, but still good. I also added a couple of splashes of seseme oil, which just added to the flavor. I served these with the Asian Lettuce Wraps, also on this site and had a very satisfying dinner...with no leftovers! Thanks for the new green bean recipe!

Great! We make this dish often. I tried it with canned green beans once and did not like it near as well as with the fresh.

I tried this for a quick dinner today for some vegatarians and they all loved it. I usually am skeptical about trying recipes out on folk, but the reviews for this one all seemed positive, and now I too am a believer. :-) I used frozen green beans, so didn't steam them before - just went straight to the frying in oil step, and that kept them crispy. Thanks for sharing. I'll definitely be making this again!

These were pretty darn good. I will make this again. Flavor was "warm" rather than hot and spicy. I used frozen extra fine whole green beans and just stir fried them instead.

I chuckled when reading other reviewers' "OMG"...but OMG is right! These are SO GOOD! I would not recommend using canned green beans - I skipped the first step and still they came out a little soggy but they tasted so good it didn't matter. If canned is all you have, make sure you drain them very well. Excellent!

I never liked green beans until I found this recipe! I steam my beans in an electric veggie steamer and then add to the cooked sauce. Easy to prepare and delicious!
