I thought this recipe was okay. I dredged the chicken in flour like everybody suggested. I definately don't think it should be the main dish. I think the sauce should be used as a substitution for store bought teryaki sauce.

This was very good! My fiance loved it. I prepared it like a few others had suggested, I floured the chicken. I also doctored it up a bit by adding diced tomatoes, chopped green pepper and red onion. It was fabulous. Also, the next day, I warmed up the chicken and tossed it with romaine lettuce for a chicken salad. Pretty good!

Wow, this was great! My husband said this is one of his favorite dishes that I have made. I love it when recipes are simple and he says that! I used the "rooster" hot sauce like other users suggested. It was too hot for me so I may cut it down a little next time. My husband added more though after I served it so it's really a matter of personal taste. I also dredged the chicken in flour before cooking like others suggested and I sauteed some onions as well. We loved it!

This is a fantastic recipe. Me, being the foodie I am, tweaked it just a tad. I halfed the soy sauce and added wine for the other half. I halfed the hot sauce because someone near and dear to me does'nt do hot. I also added frozen stir fry vegetables and boneless, skinless chicken thighs. Next time, I will probably add a little corn starch to the sauce before I add it to the chicken, just to thicken it up a bit. The taste was fantastic. Thanks for sharing!

This was a very good recipe but for me the soy sauce was a little overpowering. I will definatly try this recipe again but with a little more brown sugar and honey to counter the soy sauce.

I'm only giving this three stars, but it has serious potential for 5. The problem: it was SOOOOO spicy!!! It was practically inedible. I read some of the reviews before I made it and got the idea of using the Rooster hot sauce... If you do that, SERIOUSLY CONSIDER cutting the amount of hot sauce from 2 tbsp to about a half of a tbsp. It smelled great while cooking and I couldn't wait to dig in, but it was uncomfortably hot!

This recipe was super yummy. It was very simple and quick to make. I did, however, double the recipe for the sauce so there was extra to drizzle over the rice I served with it.

I followed the recipe exactly, and it came out way too salty. My family wouldn't eat more than a couple bites. I don't think I'll be making this again...unless I have some time to play around with it and change some things.

This recipe is really great and easy. I added broccoli, carrots, snow peas and mushrooms. Also, once the veggies were cooked I added some Udon noodles for the last few minutes to heat through. If you're worried about a thin sauce add these noodles and they'll soak the sauce right up and taste great. I've added this recipe as one of my easy weeknight staples.

I followed this recipe exactly as stated. It had a good flavor, but I feel like it was missing something... maybe some onions or peppers to add texture and variety. My sauce did not thicken very well either, perhaps I should have breaded the chicken as others suggested. My husband loved this, but I just thought it was okay. Would make again with some changes.

Yummy! I added sauteed onion, bell pepper, and mushrooms to the chicken and served over rice. It turned it into a stir fry dish. The fresh ginger is amazing in the sauce. My boyfriend ate three plates!

Used this on an indoor grill on two chicken breasts, had the rest of the sauce in a bowl for basting. Quite good.

OMG! We loved this! I like others dredged the chicken in flour then browned it but everthing else stayed the same. It tasted WONDERFUL! My kids kept asking me for more. Definitely a keeper. Thanks for this recipe.

It was good and really easy to make and took no time at all. I love Rooster Sauce, and against my better judgment I used 2 Tablespoons. Next time I will use I maybe even a half a Tb, and 2 Tb Korean Red Pepper Paste too make it thick and add heat with out the mouth burning I incurred from the Rooster Sauce. I also dredged the chicken in flour for a crispier chicken and I think that helped a lot. Not Bad, will probably make this again some time. With a few changes of course.

Great flavor. I only used 1 tbp of tabasco and it was nearly too hot for me, but in a good way. Per the other reviewers, I breaded the chicken first, then used extra virgin coconut oil to brown both sides. The sauce was very glossy and a pretty color. I am looking forward to making this again.

i added garlic powder and onion powder and dredged the chicken in flour before hand and upped the ingriedients so i would have more of a sauce for drizzling over sauce served with fresh snap peas MMM

Wow, very, very good recipe!! We loved it and will make it again and again. I did lightly dust the chicken with flour to help the thickening process, but that was the only change I made. I served it with rice and sauteed garlic asparagus from this site! Everything was awesome! Thanks Kate!
