I used 1/3 cup sugar, that was plenty! Also I omitted the poppy seeds & added 1/2 tsp. course black pepper, 1/2 cup diced red onion, . My husband has requested this one twice now! 5 stars after changes.

This did taste like the restaurant slaw, but I have to say, with the addition of the vegetable oil, it had a 'slimy' texture. Next time I will use a very small amount of oil and put some extra miracle whip and vinegar in. I would suggest upping the vinegar anyway, it was all sweet and no tang.

Awesome! I am not a mayo fan but have been trying to get over that and I'm glad I didn't let that get in the way of making this coleslaw. It was great! WAY better than any store bought and I liked it more than KFC which has always been my favorite. Used a tiny bit less mayo and a little less sugar.

Great recipe. I used a shredded broccoli slaw and added cabbage. That worked out well. It was wonderful. It got very creamy by the next day so I am adding more cabbage and I will get even more from it.

This is the recipe that I have been searching for! I will never buy the pre-made deli slaw from the store again. This is too easy and delicious. There will be no leftovers!

this is REALLY good. i used half low-fat miracle whip/half real mayo. i cut the oil in half (it is a bit soupy) and would recommend less sugar, if you want to go healthier. i also replaced the poppy seeds with celery seeds, b/c that's what i had.

This is the best slaw recipe! I cut back on the sugar a bit & the oil by 1 TB, & it was still great. A ringer for the restaurant style!

I have been looking for a cole slaw recipe that was just like my grandmothers from when I was little. This brought back so many memories. It was delicious. I did not use the onions and the poppy seeds because to me they do not belong. This will be used many times.
