As Rachel Ray would say, YUM-O. I made a few additions after reading the reviews. I made a smaller amount of slaw and used 1 head of green cabbage instead of the bagged. I added cut up broccoli florets, and only used 1/3 cup of mayo, since I saw reviews that said it was a bit soggy, and I don't like my coleslaw very wet. I used mayo instead of miracle whip (because I saw that the MW added sweetness), 1/4 c. of sugar, rice wine vinegar instead of white, and about a teaspoon of deli mustard for some uumph. Delish, and the perfect amount of sweetness for me. Obviously I made changes, but outside of the sweetness, the recipe itself is great. I think it just depends on how sweet/wet you like your coleslaw. Will make, again and again!

I didn't add seeds, but loved it so much! If you love K.F.C.'s slaw, then you'll love this!

Sooooo yummy. I used celery seed, less sugar, and mayo and it was perfect! Delicious on top of the bbq pulled pork sandwiches!

This was tasty atop pulled pork sandwiches. Although, I found it to be a little overly sweet, even though I only added 1/3 C sugar. I would probably only add 1/4 C next time.

The best way to get your kids to eat cabbage! The prefect amount of sweetness...my daughter's fav "salad"! We have never made it with poppy seeds and just as good! Also...we hardly ever wait 2 hours....let alone 20 minutes to eat. We toss the slaw with the dressing and it usually goes straight to the table. Just as good as the leftovers the next day. Thanks for the recipe! this is the only one I use now!

This was very good. I cut the sugar in half as suggested by other posters (used Splenda) and cut the oil to 1 T. Excellent taste and still on the sweet side. Will probably cut the sugar down a little more next time. Will definitely make again.

Perfect. Will never make cole slaw any other way. I skip the poppy seeds and use slightly less sugar but still fantastic. Perfect for bbq menu.

Wonderful recipe! I doubled it and added a bit of apple cider vinegar. The sauce goes WAY farther than you would think so BE CAREFUL! I also increased the amount of poppy seeds because I like the look.

For a person making cole slaw for the first time, this is a pretty safe recipe. I made it last night with success just using 1 large carrot, 1 daikon, and 1 celery root. It's pretty tasty. I would definitely add some broccoli and raisins next time I make it. I think by itself, it's a little on the sweet side and I wouldn't eat very much of it.

I don't like cole slaw. Not even KFC's famous recipe, nor any I've ever tried at a restaurant. I LOVED this and it is now one of my favorite summer salads. I did decrease the sugar a little, and that was a good thing.

We really liked this slaw, I used fresh chopped cabbage and carrots and added 2 green onions (a lot more than called for), used Splenda in place of white sugar and it was sweet and oniony good!

Cole Slaw usually improves as it sits and marinates. This one did not. It got VERY watery. It was also way too sweet for my taste. I will not make this one again. I will keep looking for a better recipe.

My brother made this recipe and it was the bomb! I couldn't stop eating it. I don't think he altered the recipe at all and it was a tad sweet.
