sweet potato, peeled and shredded
butter, softened and divided
snipped fresh thyme
ground black pepper

I made it exactly as directed and ended up with a pretty much tasteless lump of rice, without the luxurious creaminess you expect from a risotto. The sweet potato was wasted here; added nothing but color to the dish.
